This is still my favorite Age of Empires, and I have played all of them a lot (although mostly not on steam, unfortunately). It is in no way balanced or good for competetive play, but it is the most thematical and the most fun.

With the right partner, this makes for not just a lovely single player game, but an amazing multiplayer experience as well.

The gameplay is not as fluid as that of Fallout 4, but it makes up for it by being a way better RPG. New Vegas offers you choices, from the creation of your character (your stats actually matter in this one) to the outcome of quests. And during the game, the consequences of your choices will actually be made apparent, making every choice feel like it matters. A gem.

This game will probably become a slog if you're playing it single player; but if you have one to three friends to play this in co-op with, it is an absolute blast.

Basically a mix between an RPG and the card game Dominion. Loving it.

Yes, the narrative is not as good, or interactive, as New Vegas. But the gameplay is great, the companions are great, and there are some very good sidequests in there.

Europa Universalis let's you experience that you too would be a colonizer of the worst kind.

I spend an hour editing a character so he'd look like my friend.
I sent him on his first mision.
He died.
I cried.
