Forfeit Vote, Quit Penalty for Casual, and Toxicity.

There needs to be a vote forfeit function or a quitting penalty for casual. Something also needs to be done about the toxicity in this game. I know as a competitive game toxicity is to be expected but there is some blatant and disgusting shi*t talk that easily can turn a fun game into a stressful one.

I love this game. I really do. Its awsome at its core and is one of my primary go-to games for some casual fun when I'm trying to kill time or have nothing else to do as my 500+ hours shows, or at least it used to be. This game often becomes very unplayable when I get queued into a game where the other team has a massive lead or having your entire team constantly change because people rage quit after the other team scores one or two goals. It completely takes the fun out of the game. Most people tell me "but a penalty is what ranked is for" and casual is supposed to be laid back and fun but whats the point if you can't properly play the game? Not to mention the toxic players that take advantage of these opportunites in order to sh*t talk. The community is really bad right now and completely negates whatever fun this game has to offer. For that reason I'm not sure I can recommend it.

Please. Please take these points into consideration and make some changes. Maybe then I'll change my review.

1. You can turn off chat if you are angry at people getting toxic in the chat.
2. Name 3 popular games that award penalties for quitting casual gamemodes. I can't name any. If you don't like it, play competitive
3. Problem solved. You complain about things even though the game has features in place already that you can use.

well quit the game. the solution people give you here is not working. it was my biggest grievance initially but playing ranked, is probably horrific.
first of all as you already mentioned the community in casual is toxic. the community in ranked is even worse.
i love this comment especially " casual is for people who want to leave mid game", buddy if you can spare 10 minutes of your time to play a game, then dont play it in the first place.
the changes come really slow but they come eventually.

No offence but it sounds like you are complaining about something which is an absolute minor problem lol
Fix the servers first - add new shit to the game (as has been request forever), then start to fix this "problem" which i dont understand how can be a problem

Then just play ranked? lul - play it, like Denus said, as you would an unranked match and you will soon find your skill level... then you dont have to worry about people leaving

Its because the quitting ruins games. An 0-2 game quickly turns to an 0-9 game simply because a teammate leaves. You get stuck with a bot that does nothing so then your other teammate leaves then more people requeue and repeatedly start to leave. Now take that and apply it to several games after that. It gets to a point where its just pointless to play if you can't even get through a proper game. Its not fun at all.

I just cant fathom how you can think someone should get a penalty for leaving several unranked matches lol its not like it changes anything for you

The problem here is 100% not that people choose to, for whatever reason, leave an UNRANKED, CASUAL match (which they have made a conscious decision to choose over a RANKED, SERIOUS match), the problem is toxicity, which if you have seen anything about the new update you will know there is a feature coming out for...

My bad for not reading what you wrote correctly - but that just makes me disagree with you even more! Casual, as Denus said, is for people who dont have time to play a whole game or just wanna relax with it... If they play against or with toxic people, they will leave. They shouldnt be punished for that though. And yea I get you on the toxicity part - but the only time its annoying (in real terms) is when someone throws a ranked match cause of it. If you get mad cause someone throws an unranked, casual match (WHICH YOU CAN LEAVE)... sheesh, you take this game way too seriously dude

I never said I experienced a penalty. I said there should be some sort of penalty for quitting or a forfeit game vote system. Something the could deter rage quitting. Like if someone quits 3 games in a row then they have a cooldown of say 15 mins. Also, its not that I have thin skin the toxicity is terrible. You have people that shit talk to the point where they will throw games by scoring on your own goal, or ramming you or just doing nothing at all while shit talking. I've voiced my concern and there are many many people that are saying the same thing. Its a problem in this game and its getting significantly worse.
