I must say, this game is one of the best Free To Play games out there.
As a keen player of flight simulators, I took the oppurtunity to play War Thunder in it's Beta Stages with open arms.
In my opinion, I think War Thunder was better before it came out on Steam for the sole reason that you can buy starter packs more easily. However because you can buy them more easily, for someone like me who does not have a lot of money or time, it is an easy way to get Golden Eagles - the game's currency where you spend real money and with Golden Eagles you can buy new things which would take you hours ingame or not in game at all, it also gives you the ability to buy Premium, which is something where it speeds up your XP getting by giving you more Lions (The games currency collected by doing battles, which is spent on most things in the game) and more XP quicker.
Saying that, I have not noticed any change in my play from people who have bought starter packs, DLCs or Premium.
You can play as 5 'factions' - USSR, Germany, China, Great Brtiain and the U.S.A. Each country has it's own unique planes which provides a challenge for the player if you only play in one faction, such as myself.
Some planes are better at destroying others, while they can easily get destroyed by others, too.

There are multiple maps - so many that in my over 50 hours of play I have not experienced them all - and they are all beautiful. Each map has a challenge, for example in the mountinous maps you may find it hard to maneuver around the mountains, especially in a dogfight. However, you could use these mountains to get a stealth attack on a heavy fighter or bomber, and with their slow turning times and dangerous high powered cannons which could rip through a Spitfire in seconds, it's crucial you use the maps to your advantage.

You can upgrade each plane, some planes have unique upgrades, but most have the same upgrades except the benefit that plane more. You can upgrade your weapons, carry load, slipstream, armour... so many things.

The game has a nice match making system, which I find works best in Historical Battles or Full Real Battles, where you are paired up in a team with similar planes (and from the same country as you unless playing Arcade Mode) in your team and on the enemies. It is very fair to both teams, but one team may have a map advantage.

They are currently adding the ability to control tanks and boats but that is still in closed beta, and only a few selected people got through because they completed many hard challenges. As much as I think this is a very good idea, the ability to control aircraft, landcraft and seacraft will make the game seem quite overwhelming, and I don't think Gajin will be able to make the tank and boat experience better than World of Tanks or Warships, but this is an online flight simulator, after all, and we all know that World of Warplanes did not turn out very well. However, I do think that having three different vehicles at war will make an interesting experience for the people controlling the tanks, jeeps and warships, but not so much for the people controlling the planes because it happens normally.

Aswell as the multiple online missions, there are smaller, story based missions you can play, but less people know about these.

Overall, the battles are very fun and well balanced. I would give this game a 8/10.

CS:GO Review
I have really enjoyed this game - it's one of the best games that I have played.
Allthough there are some bugs after major updates, Valve always fix these. Best of all, they listen to the comunity. Map changes have been put in place because we wanted it.
There is a massive comunity surrounding this game - because it is an E-Sport, there are international competions held regulary and it offers great YouTube content aswell as amazing Twitch Live Streams.
The gameplay itself is epic. I play competetive and it is so tense, the small teams and limited time make it a fast paced, action packed game. If you play with a group of friends or even random people who have microphones, it can become very tactical. There are a few bugs with the matchmaking system, and the low-budget servers can glitch and not register your hits which can be fustrating at times. I would give this game a 9/10.
