{DO NOT INTERACT WITH THIS GAME, PERIOD!}

The company is extremely strict on their players tweaking settings and adjusting their systems for performance and will not hesitate to enforce their rules and regulations when you least expect it.

I was going about my usual business, trying to make the game run as smooth as possible by configuring some in-game settings.

Today, I decided to try a Custom Game out and test the settings and see how they performed. After the game, I closed it to do something else. A few hours later, I open the game to find "Connection Terminated" with a retry option. Upon clicking, I was shown another box saying "Your account has been permanently banned". After reading this, I logged onto my Activision account to see if I could appeal the ban. After a few hours of waiting, I was given an email saying that the ban is final and for "unauthorised software and manipulation of game data", despite me only tweaking in game settings.

I am thoroughly disappointed with the injustice I was given despite me not being able to maintain a stable framerate and was forced to tweak settings to make it run smoother. The only software I had was general purpose programs to help the computer run smoother, plus Discord and Steam itself, nothing else.

I wish for anyone that takes this review seriously to advice my warnings: If you wish to have fun and experience a FPS game that really gives you the pleasure of shooting peeps and having a blast, AVOID THIS GAME AT ALL COSTS! The company give no regard towards your hardware or performance and will not hesitate to end your account and standing whenever they please. Consider looking elsewhere for a game with a tolerable company.

I was wrongfully banned for trying to play a game that was unplayable in the first place, and for that, I was told to piss off somewhere else and lost all the money I invested on ♥♥♥♥♥♥ products. I feel I can confidently say for everyone in my predicament that we saw a new side to Activision the day we lost our accounts, and frankly, the future is dark for a company this soulless.

UPDATE 10/09/2024: Attempted to appeal for a ban once again, only to be rejected and sent a reminder that NOT ONLY was I banned from this godforsaken game, but banned from the MOBILE version of Warzone, and, to add salt to the open, gaping wound... BANNED FROM THE SINGLE-PLAYER CAMPAIGN OF MODERN WARFARE II!!! THIS IS IN OUTRAGE!!!

The Call of Duty wing of this company is nothing more than a scam tied to an underwhelming development process that threatens game development and progression every single day! 10 full years of supporting the franchise, only to have my account banned because I TRIED TO MAKE THE GAME PLAYABLE ON A SYSTEM THAT NOTED IT COULD RUN IT FINE!!! I only hope more people receive this review and support my cause. Banned for enjoying the game, while Cheaters continue to infect it... Useless, useless company backwards logic...

I'm deleting my account and posting this review to all the games I've been banned on to spread the word of a soulless game development team who lets money be the decider for the fates of devoted and dedicated fans of their series. Shameless, cruel and overall, stupid.

Literally falling asleep here...

After playing this game for hours and hours (most of the time in background cuz no save feature), Risk of Rain 2 quickly became one of my favourite games of 2019. With its RNG of item spawns and wide variety of character selection (with more to come in the future!), this game constantly drags me back into the game to get a good run going, only to perish to a singular Lessar Wisp horde on Monsoon. Finally, after all this time, completing all Monsoon with all the characters (besides from Engineer, no skin this patch), a sense of accomplishment is finally felt when I obliterated Monsoon runs with Huntress and Artificer.

Risk of Rain 2 is a definite recommend for anybody fans of rogue-like games that want a different approach towards a more 3-D angle. Original fans of Risk of Rain will most certainly pick this game up, understand the many differences and immediately work with the environment.
