had a long complaining review but felt like i wouldnt even read it but anyways

lot of the biomes suck and alot is a damn chore that takes way more time than it should like regaining health and stamina while ur fighting an overtuned enemy with too much damage and too much health that takes like 3-7 minutes of troublesomely kiting. and i have never seen a past irritating thing being improved on everytime i have returned to this game when another expansion is put in the game that has only been getting worse and worse. i have not yet reached ashlands yet but i have drowned near its shores because the boat broke because of "boiling water" and so that corpse is there with all my tools and gear impossible to retrieve without wasting alot of time or just cheating
anyways nothing has improved and stays the same as it is in alpha and has been the only game that can make me ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ angry when all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mechanics and combat perfectly ruin my time
game got a very positive rating but it definetly does not deserve it with how clunky and unpolished this game is

leveling based on stats you get from items just doesnt work if u wanna play the game normally instead of a completionist i was playing on normal difficulty but still i get outleveled while probably having found around 90% of the stuff and full valkyrie gear.
Bossfights are reused way too much where the only difference becomes the appearance and how long they take between moves
and it takes like a whole minute to pick up the 5 loot thingys cuz it keeps popping up a big screen notification that the piece of material u just picked up is "Epic" or "Rare" despite the stuff not being random
story is alright but the boy getting angry and just turns back to normal like nothing happened is just way too predictable and cliche
and story just ends cuz the final bossfight had storywise nothing to do with you and is not even hard its just very cinematic

i might still try ragnarok since it has the chaos blades from the start but i doubt they improve on the Re-used bossfights, bad leveling mechanic, and timewasting puzzles and completionist nonsense

early game hunting robots is fun but late game its just figure out some overpowered techniques or play darksouls with a slingshot. combat against humans stinks cuz they barely miss and they die mostly in 1 hit and ofcourse sneaking humans is easy as hell. models that arent early main characters kinda ugly with their sweating piece of plastic faces and the story real simple as hell

only realy liked the second hour of the game and the rest was just seeing were it goes

This game sucks AND cosmetics have been havin a pricecreep over the years making it nonsensical to even buy any of them scratch that you cannot buy them you have to hope u get the skin out of a 1/120 chance chest of 300 gems (was 200 in past) per roll wich is i think 2 bucks for 1 bunch of pixels and BUT IF you want 1 specific skin you can wait years for it to come up in the special "Deals" part of the store where they kick up the price 4 times to 1200 Gems wich is 10 bucks for 1 skin AND they even made a Pack for 18 Bucks were you get 1 skin and some useless cosmetic ♥♥♥♥ like amateur art thats taken for nothing from some community artist and then put a 2buck price on a stupid 2d image of a frog with a hat or some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

and ofc balancing is muck
