Can't wait to see what is done with this. Already promising for a (clearly) very early version. I was quite surprised that there are already little easter eggs, and if that's all this game ends up being I am so so here for it.

Over-promised, undersold. Missing promised features still in 2025. Still has bugs and glitches, though severely reduced. Very few impactful choices, no branching paths, and a few choice limitations in your ability to save in ATROCIOUS areas (looking at you, Sinnerman car chase piece of sh-). The list, unfortunately, does go on.

With all that said, and said importantly too - this is still an amazing game. Don't look past the above issues, just don't let them paint the whole picture for you. Because the writing, mission design, themes, art design, and general gameplay feel is all amazing. Imperfect, but amazing. Deals with corporate fascism, fundamentalist religion, what it means to be human, what it means to be YOU, drug abuse, terrorism, violence, collateral damage, the meaning of life, suicide, bodily autonomy - I could go on. And not in a cringy, preachy way, nor a stuck up philosophy 101 way. Again, is it perfect? No. But ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is it good.

So what'll it be for you? Quiet life, or blaze of glory?

The game is buggy. Very buggy. Like, shouldn't have been released yet buggy. But if you can deal with the jank, the crashes, the glitches, the t-posing corpses, the constant frame drops and freezing... the best immersive sim in a long long time is here.

Choices matter, sometimes in ways you don't even realise. Things in the world interact dynamically, the people feel real, the atmosphere is just so on point. Pick sides in a firefight and realise who you side with has an actual impact. Backstab a guy who agreed to help you out because you want his shiny gun. It's all here folks.

For those wanting a stable experience - hold off. Give it a month or two, come back once the worst of the bugs are dealt with. For those who have played another STALKER game, or know for sure they're going to love this game and can deal with the cancer... well, The Zone calls.

DOWNLOAD THE R18 PATCH. Yes yes, huhu nsfw, but there are important lines of dialogue missing without it.

To this day still one of the best VNs I have ever played. It's not rich in choice, the art isn't kino, sometimes the writing is a touch stilted. But this game makes you FEEL things. My favourite route is Rin's perhaps because I identify with her quite strongly, and a bawled like a girl the first time playing through her route. Lilly's route comes dangerously close to a past relationship of mine, and it left me feeling heart-wrenched to play her neutral ending (more or less how my relationship went), to then play her good end afterwards and see what I perhaps could have had were I not in such a sorry mental state at the time.

When I first read reviews and discussions of this game, and how a dating VN "changed people's lives", I cringed, hard. I thought it was absolutely, totally, unabashedly, ridiculous. Then I played it.

Now you're cringing at my review. Now I only hope you play it as well.

Best game I've ever played. And I don't say that lightly.

An absolute classic, S tier game, finally brought to PC. I know some people are still having technical issues with this port, however, Post 1.1 update I've been able to run this at Ultra with no issues whatsoever on my 2070 Super, and the dev team are continuing to post fixes and patches. It was BAD on release, no doubt, and it shouldn't have been released in the state it was. However, I think credit should be given where it is due, and the game is far more playable now for most people, from what I can gather. Tech issues aside, still a 10/10 game. Can't wait for TLOU2 to get ported.

Superb game. The addition of achievements, the very well-written side stories, plus some little extras make this well worth another purchase.
