Its a classic and the voice acting is good! A tactical rpg that still holds water 27+ years down the line.

I spent 100 hours dominating the entire known world and didn't even finish the entire map. That's also only manually playing close defense battles. This game is not for the faint of heart or short of attention.

Its good BUT not worth 20$ get this one on sale. Why? Simply not enough original content to justify the price.

The last great civilization game before the needless need for innovation ruined the series. Civ 6 feels bland and at times convoluted. Civ 7 is just frankly barren of fun. If you want a good civilization experience this is truly the happiest medium. Also RIP to my homie Beyond Earth the only really innovative title they had that was subsequently abandoned, I assume for being fun and innovative and firaxis just couldn't let that happen.

I was never a fan of souls-like games, but this is a very well designed and produced game with undeniable draw even for people new to the genre. I enjoy the open world design and various mechanics that make nearly any build or strategy viable. Overall 9.5/10.

hardcore rules, steep learning curve and oldschool low polygon graphics are the only drawbacks to this, a semi-original high fantasy game made before the modern LOTR movies hit the genre. Its unique and fun in a timeless way and it needs a modern remake please please please please. each faction has enough variety to feel unique and different and has its own pros and cons and magics which make sense per lore. its really got something for people who like unique 4X.

Chinese Rug-pulling simulator fired a majority of its non-Chinese dev staff amid success. feels unfinished. level design feels poorly copied from OW, matchmaking is a mess of bots and stacked seeding and has a growingly toxic player base, competitive is as toxic as Leauge of Legends. the destructable environments are nice the characters are cool but lack balance. 5/10 but it is fun. without the marvel theme it wouldnt be a success.

With 34 hours at the time of writing, I still have many hours to go and its still fun. What else can we ask from a game? the pixel animation is best in class and everything manages to stay fresh renewed by new mechanics and layers of depth!
