Love this game, very relaxing but not boring.
Content is huge and there's a workshop and an editor too.
Very well optimized, one of the few games that you can keep in background with a very little resource usage.

Thanks guys!

My only grief, no mouse wheel to change weapons... not ideal at all.
For the rest the game is awesome and the dev team exceptional.
Pity this mess with Sony but it was not unexpected that they don't understand anything about PC gaming.
Luckily seems they backed off and, at least for now, the game is back on track.

Very easy going, fun to play solo and in co-op.

Unfortunately I can't recommend it anymore.

I'm forced to play via a VPN cause since they introduced the match making "optimizations" they messed up with the client to server connection.

As many noticed, sometimes you get black screens, client hanging in the menu, infinite loading times, etc

You can't connect, almost at all, to the game servers using Vodafone Germany DSL and mobile networks, maybe Cable too.
Tried to help hoping they could fix the issue but they have no idea what to do or where to look.

Pity, hopefully me and my friends will find something else soon cause playing an FPS via a VPN is like swimming in an ocean of big smelly turds :)

Early Access Review
Microstuttering is gone, player base is growing again.
It's a fun game at a great price.
Highly recommended!

Not supporting HOTAS, a pile of shame

No support either for triple monitors or 21:9 displays.

Yet all above was supported quite well on the previous AC.

The console port is the usual "meh", don't waste much time on it; didn't expect much anyway.

Already hard to swallow limited VR support, then one year exclusive to PSVR. UGH. Again exclusives, like we don't just hate them, right?

Tricks to make HOTAS working are just not enough good, this game needs native support to become playable.

I keep reading comments about people telling "AC7 is an arcade game, why you need to play it with an HOTAS stick?"

That's incredibly laughable, they either never used an HOTAS or never played the original AC coin up.

Obviously everyone with an HOTAS owns probably a dozen or half dozen sims.
We want to play a damn ARCADE game of course!

Something you can engage in a quick, fast, violent air dogfight without too much attention and stress. Is this so hard to understand? Really?

Try for yourself to engage in a dogfight in DCS with minimal attention span while holding a cigarette in one hand.
You'll die in a split second after an half hour of preparations and another half of flight.

Is it going to be funny? Nope
This game should have been but: is it? Nope

"the option to uncap the framerate; and plenty of settings for Flight Systems, controllers, flight sticks, keyboard and mouse control, and key remapping. In other words, Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has everything you need to tailor the experience to your liking."
