I liked the premise, but the execution is lacking. This game gets very frustrating very fast, and the dumb story doesn't help. The game rapidly forces more and more limitations and requirements on you in the campaign while the tools you're given are very narrow in their capabilities. "Smart" arms for moving items can't filter for more than 1 ingredient, order processors can only control four machines at once, and machines can only be connected to one of those machines and not any others. I'm stuck on one of the "blackout" levels where you have a strict power requirement and I can't find a way to overcome it, and there's no way to progress without beating it. There's no guides and no hints so I just have to bash my head against the wall if I want to continue playing.

The OG classic, a masterpiece of 90's gaming. Highly recommended you play it with a sourceport, but regardless it's a milestone and a piece of history. Very good stuff.

Early Access Review
Can't be a hobo with a shotgun, 0/10.

In all seriousness, though, I can't really recommend this game in its current state. It's difficult and a bit bewildering. The city is disorienting, with few landmarks, and the maps you get are next to useless. They don't tell you where public bathrooms, stores or anything is; you have to figure it out for yourself. You can build a base, but I don't know how you're supposed to make a bed in your base. I always have to go to the benches in the park or around the church to sleep, but you can't sleep if you're starving or freezing, the latter of which can happen even in daytime.

This game might be better with further development, but at the moment there's not much to do other than struggle in what feels like futility. And any bit of success doesn't feel rewarding.
