Fun game for what it is.

Story:
Pro-Nothing amazing for the first title, I didn't feel anything taking advantage of the mc being a female, like oversexualization, there was enough there to make her stand out.
Con-Comics to me were a fill in needed to enjoy this more but the sequel makes up for this in some ways.

Gameplay:
Pro-Combat is usually a constant, guns are a plenty but not needed for combat besides a few traps that just help get past them faster. Wither it be I was just slicing a guy , hopping from him to cap another and then feed on the other, I could make combat consistent and the slow-mo ability that's available for unlimited use but it's not needed all the time.
Con-Not that many combos or an accurate way to attack enemies but compared to my experience of this on a PS2 when younger, the FPS problems cause this but should be addressed in the remaster. I felt in some cases, there wasn't enough to feed on when I needed it but I would just reload a save and learn from mistakes.

Playing experience:
Pro-Nope
Con-I had to do some file edits and mods to make this a tad more playable, from the FPS issues, not recognizing my gpu and cutscenes being accelerated.

Install DOOM music and it's far more playable.

Agnes Obel is the music in the trailer so this makes this a good game to me just because of that.

You like Mount & Blade but a mmo? This is my dude.

It's pretty alright.

I love almost everything about this game except for the fact there is no 4-pack on the Store Page.

The only good thing about this game is, in multiplayer, calling RWBY a cartoon and watching how furious weebs get.

Problems:
-The alphas before this were way better
-This game, this build, had a BETA and it was released in this condition
-Audio is extremely offset
-Combat is really boring
-Voice acting
-Increase in difficulty just means more enemies are on screen
-Not that many levels
-Animations do not blend very well
-Settings menu is damned atrocious
-No rebinding of keys, when you lower your quality settings, it lowers the quality of the image that displays controls

I'm pretty sure this game will get tons of support from people purely off of the massive flood of fanboy feels who will look past every fault, noting them and saying "It's early access, I I hope to see more of this *great* game based off my favorite animu series!"

I'm tired of early access being used to get paid while getting pretty much free testing and Q&A, this is the prime example at why its annoying to see a "playable" game get released with complete lack of content like this.

Early access is not an excuse to release a broken game. I expected better from Rooster Teeth. You're a studio, not some lone coder thats starting out in the game developing world, they have no reason to be defended over this game considering the condition it was released in.

Middle Lane is always warm.

Challenging game.
Fun with others "I've only played with one other person"
A lot of references to other modern pop culture.
Lack of Rule 34.

Edit:Yo, I'm 26 years old now, what the ♥♥♥♥ did I review.

I played it again for hours, if you can manage with rogue likes, game's pretty baller and offers a different experience each time.

Revised:

Egos the size of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ sun.
And people who don't know the difference between a remesh and a reskin.
Peeps would rather the game stay the way it is than implement things that would work well with it'd IP.
Doesn't have plate carriers.
