Going a bit off topic but what ever you do don’t play the source version of half-life, Play the original. The source version of the game is a buggy mess. I’ve seen videos of people analyzing half-life: source list of bugs.

@A Wild Glaceon believe me play the first one. then when you’re done with portal play the second one. That game is so good. Trust me.

Might as well also go through the first Portal game as well just for the hell of it.

@Andrew0612 As much as I want to, 2 things needed to be brought up.
1. The Heartless Special Infected was made after the Last Stand update so whatever issue is happening, It shouldn't be due to the update.
2. I no longer have the files to update or fix up the mod and all the issue it hold. Hope you understand and apologies if this isn't the answer you're hoping for.
