After dipping my toes into Two Point Hospital and Campus, I can say with confidence that third times the charm with this series. It's really hit its stride and I'm having a fantastic time putting my own stamp on the exhibits. The game is crammed with charm and as someone who has always enjoyed the idea of a Management Sim but always found them overwhelming, this is an ideal jumping off point.

It's criminal that this game isn't getting more attention.

Vanquish is a game that prioritises quality over quantity and lets nothing get in its way. Its story is severely lacking and the weapons are fairly uninspired. But as a game that set out to encompass speed in its purest form, the game excels.

Already spectacular firefights are elevated ever higher by its signature suit and no section overstayed its welcome. This is one game I enjoyed immensely and can wholeheartedly recommend that you have a go for yourself.

Initially deterred by it’s horrific presentation, it wasn’t long before I found myself warming to its charms. Little Nightmares somehow made me adore its melancholic world, whilst giving me every excuse to escape it.

From the moment I set off into the inky black depths, carrying nothing but a lighter and a charming yellow raincoat, I was entranced. Observing the soft glow of my flame as it flickered and danced around the environment, creating a waltz between shadow and light.

After surviving a turbulent time in early access, Bugbear has reconditioned this wreck into a race ready contender.

The campaign is certainly soulless and the AI could benefit from a few more lessons behind the wheel. But the damage model alone gives it an advantageous position on the starting grid.

With some of the most uncanny crashes and a valley of content, it's sure to keep you on the road for a good while. Just make sure you keep a spare in the back.

You’re going to need it.

Campo Santo’s forested foray stokes the flames of the walking-sim genre. Delivering a refreshingly mature saunter through vibrant Wyoming.

Technical shortcomings and some by the numbers gameplay, threaten to smother the blaze. But the endearing wit between its characters and the enigmatic goings on ensure this trail with a tale burns brightly.

There are no objectives in The Ramp. No unlockables, no timers. No points, no currency. No typical motivators to encourage you to press on.

Instead there is only yourself and your innate sense of play fuelling each session. Encouraged to skate to the beat of your own drum and get reacquainted with your inner child

Initially this left me disorientated, uneasy at the complete absence of direction or purpose. Though in time I recognised the speciousness of its shortcomings, revelling in the resulting freedoms, to stumble and experiment without consequence.

To create my own lines and define my own objectives.
