I love the atmosphere and tone of the whole game. The imagery and ideas are haunting and brilliant.

Chapter 3 has a couple of frustrating and sloggy parts, but it didn't detract from my overall enjoyment. The difficulty generally felt about right.

There's something very satisfying about this horror RPG. A special sauce, if you will. The Fear and Hunger series has me charmed and absorbed, and I'm really glad I took the plunge into the darkness. It's not for the faint of heart, and the grimdark aspects can be haunting, but this is the best thing I've seen come out of RPGMaker in a long time.

There's something compelling about the world of Fear and Hunger that keeps me coming back to it. Overall, I think the creator did a great job. It can be frustrating, even on the easy mode, but I found it well worth the time to figure out.

I preferred the 1st Fear & Hunger, as it had more of a peculiar magic to it, but I was pleased to see the continuation of the story and lore in this installment.

After being dazzled by Sunless Sea, I was proud to be a kickstarter for this title. The 200+ hours I poured into this game were pure enjoyment and bliss, the occasional risk-taking misstep on my part notwithstanding.

My only nitpicks:

- not as dark and eerie as Sunless Sea, but that's okay. It more than makes up for it with a wide variety of scenery.

- I ran out of ambitions to fulfill, and now I want more. The game is still being updated, so I look forward to what Failbetter adds in the future.
