If you are of a particular age to have your favorite Castlevania game be Castlevania III, then you need this game. If you like old, tough, 2d platformers but wish they came with more modern features and greater accessibility, you need this game. It's really good, and honestly my only mild criticism of it is that color pallet/gameplay sometimes feels more like a Mega Man game than a Castlevania, especially with some of the bosses, but rest assured, even then it's one of the good Mega Mans.
