Hideo Kojima's Death Stranding is more than just a game about delivering items. It's a uniquely captivating experience that touches on all manner of subjects from connection, love, loss and what it is to simply be human. It's yet another fine example of what Kojima (and his team at Kojima Productions) does best. Creating a world and lore that you just can't help but get sucked into. Brilliantly produced cutscenes with a top cast of actors, helps create suspense throughout and as you traverse the land of a broken America, you appreciate the beautiful moments scattered throughout. It feels wrong to go into detail regarding gameplay and mechanics, because many of Death Stranding's best moments come in discovering it all for yourself. It helps that thanks to the Decima Engine, it's a stunning game that helps give the world an almost realism of it's very own.

The Director's Cut adds some nice new additions and even a few special missions to boot. Making it the default version to play at this point. So this is an easy one for me to recommend. If you have any ounce of fondness of what Hideo Kojima does and you haven't yet played Death Stranding, you owe it to yourself to do so.
