I ask because I saw a post on here where everyone in the comments were bemoaning the fact a black person wanted to say ♥♥♥♥♥. They didn't mind that it it was white folks policing the black persons use of ♥♥♥♥♥. Even going as far to act like it's the same as a white person using it.

All of that thread got me to thinking. Is this mindset normal now? When did the shift happen?

Like in the south everyone black I know says it. My family old and young, teachers, principals, doctors, hbcu professors. Errrrrrbody lol it's so shocking to me to see folks saying that on the internet.
