Game is awesome with new mechanics and gameplay, most of the hero's don't look like the ones from the previous games, its a very refreshing start for Dynasty Warriors and honestly regardless whether you are a new or old player, this is pretty much a new game. Still maintains the 1v1000 hack and slash and trust me it really is 1v1000 like actually you are in the middle of a large force, to be honest...i don't know where to start on how fun this game is. try the Demo before purchase to understand what i mean, its a good start for past and new players of dynasty warriors

Now for the cons, unlike previous Dynasty Warrior games, this is pretty much just you playing as one character, in battlefield you can play as your companions for a limited amount of time and not all the usual characters in the pass dynasty warrior series is playable. i would very much like to play as one of the usual character but then again its removing the charm of this game.

what i wish this game will add in is
- more playable characters
- able to explore certain towns (open world concept) of course this is my opinion, this world looks very beautiful and to be honest i would want to explore the towns (not like DW9 OVERLY OPEN and DEAD world)
- maybe DLC to continue the story?
- more customisation for character

So far so good on the deck, good to be back. Waited 10 years for this game, for those crashing please wait patiently for update I’m sure it will be fix. This game is worth playing

Ahoy hoy, thanks for taking the time to read. Firstly, after reading the reviews and watching reviews I thought I was gonna play and end up refunding, but turns out I’m hours into the game.
It’s really not up to expectation but it’s there as a pirate game, just lacking hand to hand combat. Other than that it’s a somewhat nice and fun game to play, though it takes a bit to understand some other mechanics.
The game honestly don’t deserve the full hate, it’s the initial hype part that ended up in disappointment.
Would recommend the game, but if you are into hand to hand or boarding then maybe AC4 Black Flag is for you.
If Naval combat is sufficient and you want multiplayer than this is for you, but please trial the game before purchasing, it’s worth it to buy when it’s on discount.

After so many years of play time 3000hrs+ (2 accounts combined), its still fun and silly.
there is a strong community, great hats, good people. thats where i met my friends from, best game ever. just wish developers would pay more attention to TF2.

if you love leading an army and somewhat of hack and slash, this is a go to, tho i would really hope the developers can do a bit more for the game for example daily quest and monthly maps etc.
just my opinion so yeah, diff peep diff thinking.

Very interesting game, tho i experience some lags hence some video was cut off. this game might not be for everyone so i recommend you to download the demo to see if it suits you, pricing wise i find that it is a bit on the high side, would recommend you to purchase when on sale.
i like the scenery for this, at the very least it makes me feel that im out exploring the rails

Gameplay is not for everyone, please play the trial before purchasing
Below is just my opinion, would still recommend you to play the game if you are interested.
Good try on the open world but maybe more can be done and researched before rushing into this, wont really recommend the game to others unless they are interested in the storyline and dont really mind the game play.
if you are looking to buy, would strongly urge you to wait until there is a sale.

-Chinese dub
-somewhat more realistic use of wepons for characters (less a few)
-Combat system
-Have the feels of actually attacking a city
-Huge towns and cities in the game
-character costumes feel more real (very good touch)
-storyline (own preference)
-horses have more realistic gear on them

Con
-larger map feels very empty sometimes
-repetitive very easily
-steam cloud not syncing between devices (very huge prob with me, now i have 3 device with 3 diff save files)
-feels like a laze out made version of dynasty warriors for some reason
-easily reaching boss, just harder to kill if you dont complete side quest.
-1 point to 1 point can be tiring, but lucky there is fast travelling.

would prefer to be able to play without having the need of internet connection to "start" the game, whats the point of playing offline when you need internet to "start" the game?
but overall still recommended, get it when its on sale tho

want to get muddy, get stuck, get wet, fall off cliffs and overturn? this is the game for you,
