Horrible optimization and borderline unplayable in some parts unless you have really good specs. Bought on sale, and would not recommend it unless you get it dirt cheap.

Only here to couunteract the stupid review bombing. played it way back, not my cup of tea but definitely not a bad game by any stretch.

Episode 1: An absolute mess, I had no idea what I was doing or what the point of the quests was. Choices didn't matter either, siding with either person has the same end result. The world was beautiful but there was nothing new or exciting to do at all.

Episode 2: This one was far superior to the previous one with a completely different feel of the underworld. Quests were again boring but some were more interesting. The thing that saved this episode is the voice acting from Hades actor. Give that man a raise, single-handedly carrying this train wreck. But even he couldn't save this from the absolutely horrendous present time scene. Seriously what were they thinking? Did anyone bother playing through that scene before putting it into the game?

Episode 3: More of the same quests with a world similar to Elysium. This episode does contain a lot of lore though, and it has much more Isu characters. I'd say this one was the best of the bunch but only marginally.

I'm very divided on this dlc as it has beautifully designed worlds but very few well designed quests. The overall story wasn't that interesting to be honest, I expected more after the disappointment of the first dlc. I'm gonna have to say no to this overall as it is not worth the price even on sale. If you absolutely must buy a dlc, skip the first and get this one.

Best value for money I have received for any gaming related purchase.

Felt like any of the dozens of side stories in the main game with more cringe-worthy dialogue. Not even worth the sale price in my opinion. The only good thing about this DLC is that you get more cultists (or ancients) to hunt down. Story for the first 2 episodes is average at best but picks up a bit in episode 3. Its like first DLC of Origins with a lot more cringe but in the same place as the main game.

Amazing game with the same level of passion put into it as The Witcher 3. If you like visual novels and card game, this is the perfect combination.
