I've been playing since 2003 and it's finally a relief to see it on Steam!

A game that will give you many hours of enjoyment and also many hours of frustration. I can forgive some of it though, due to the fact that the dev team isn't of the size and caliber that many AAA games nowadays have behind them. The team is always updating the anti-cheat and implementing updates that the community gives feedback on and only those updates that the community approves of are applied. They have great community outreach and interact with users through various outlets to get feedback and ideas from them. The list of bugs continues to decrease as new patches and updates come out. Lastly, the company does a fantastic job of writing a news article for each patch that we get, detailing each and every fix that was made and keeping us in the loop as far as development and implementation is concerned. They have a separate server that implements proposed bug fixes and game updates that allows you to get in on the action early without your main account being affected and is a fun way to try out new content! For map updates, they have a separate server for that as well where you can beta test the latest and greatest maps as well! I've never seen a game that had that type of dedication to it's development! The game is also only $30, half that of the cost of most new games these days. Although it doesn't have a story/campaign mode, I feel like the game is appropriately priced keeping in mind how fun this game honestly is.

This game will most likely end up becoming the game that I spend the most hours on and have made countless friends who I can always squad up and enjoy the game with! The game suits your mood well, too. If you don't want to play with a team, you can play solo. If you want to play just you and a friend, duos are available. But if you want a full out 3 or 4 man squad, that is there as well. Lastly, there are occasionally fun game modes that are launched for a weekend (such as the war mode we recently just had) that allows us to play a gamemode that we usually don't have the option to play and allows for a change of pace and is a relief sometimes! I definitely would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys first person shooters!
