Solid game, i like the story so far and the world seems immersive and fleshed out.
Sadly there are a lot of bugs that currently ruin the experience.
For me it's bugs relating to unreal engine 5 making the game crash every hour or so.
I would wait at least 3 months and buy it once the bugs have been ironed out.

The game is fun but the performance is just about unacceptable.
With a 3080 and a i7-12700 at 1080p it averages 60 frames in the wild, but as soon as you get anywhere near a settlement it drops to 30-40 fps. The sheer brutality of the cpu dependency displayed in this game is stunning.
As soon as capcom fixes these issues i would raccomend the game, but for now steer clear, especially if you don't have a powerful pc.

go touch some grass and save yourself from this addiction.

I'm not one to write reviews as i just can't be bothered most of the time, but i am.
In the small time (soon to grow) that i played scarlet nexus i have thoroughly enjoyed most of it.
The combat is great, very reminiscent of Nier automata and anyone familiar with that game or it's combat style will feel right at home, there is also a hint of bayonetta in the mix, with perfect dodges and abilities reminiscent of witch time.
The only thing hampering the combat is the absolutely trash control scheme for mouse and keyboard (my faulty for not having a controller so disregard it if you have one) where you often get stuck on targeting one enemy and the camera is nigh uncontrollable.
Other than that, which can be solved very easily with any controller the combat is a solid 9/10 for me.

The story is divided into two campaigns, one playing as Yuito Sumeragi and another playing as Kasane Randall.
You need to play both campaigns to truly understand the story, but it wont leave you completely clueless as to whats going on like some people are saying.
I'm playing the Kasane campaign and never once have i felt completely lost, on the other hand there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you on your toes.
Overall the story is solid and a fresh take on this type of narrative, 8/10.

The music is a bit repetitive and weird at times, where you're about to fight some others and you have this overly happy tune in the background, that can be rather weird and anticlimactic, but when the music choice actually corresponds what's happening its quite good. 6/10

Graphics are good for a JRPG and i'm pretty sure that a potato could run this game thanks to it's stylised aesthetic.
If you like this sort of look in a game you will definitely enjoy what's on display in scarlet nexus since the graphics are very good. 8/10
Overall i think this game is most definitely worth a shot if you have the cash to spare and nothing to do for 30-50 hrs.

The game is good, fun and quite a change of pace from my usual games.
Sadly there are a bunch of annoying bugs which keep it from being a great game, I've had multiple missions be broken because i could not interact with the objective, a few missions where i could not evac and a bunch of times my characters tried to impersonate Michael Jackson by moon walking everywhere.
Overall in the state it is currently i would rate this game a 6/10 because of the bugs, but i expect them to be fixed sometimes in the future with patches and hotfixes. Once the bugs have been resolved and fixed it's gonna be a solid 8/10 game.

It's not often i write a review, but this game astonished me in almost every aspect so it deserved one.
It takes the gameplay loop from escape from tarkov and combines it with an 1800s post war aesthetic and the result leaves me amazed.

The good:
The gun play is solid with plenty of weapons to chose from all being decently balanced at what they were made to do.
The graphics are pretty good and create this gritty aesthetic which i totally dig.
The game rewards patience and tactical thinking over guns blazing play styles.
Its very strategic and almost tactical in feel.
The music is good.

The bad:
Optimisation could be better.
Steep learning curve which some may not enjoy.
Community is tryhard and mostly not helpful to new players.

Overall Hunt Showdown scores highly in my book for its rather unique look and time period, that alone had me sold!
You add to the mix the adrenaline pumping gunfights and the tactical thinking required to roam the map successfully and outflank the enemy teams you have a winning combo.

Final Score: 9/10
Would recommend to anyone that is willing to get over the steep learning curve and has good friends to play with, a really good game.

Decent game, storyline is kinda outdated but i like it anyway, the fps issues are non existant for me, using a 10706gb and a ryzen1700x i can get between 60-90 fps on max settings withoud any drops, if you like sniping and are willing to get over the average story ,get this game.

This game is epic.
combine a comedian, steven segal, some chinese guy, and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ rambo. and you got lo yang.
