Never have I gone from waiting for a game to release to being more disappointed in such a short time.
Water is critical to existence, its unsurprising to see it play a role in a survival game.

But to boot up the game discover there's a timer running at all times even while you are offline and if you run out of water you lose everything except your XP?
So if I simply don't play the game for a bit any leveling of my squad, my base, my entire inventory, all of it vanishes?

And seeing that concerns about this have been raised throughout early testing periods and the devs have doubled and tripled down on this mechanic?

This is a asinine mechanic that does nothing but punishes players for not playing and until its ripped out entirely its not worth touching.

Lacking controls
Lacking graphics
Lacking AI
Lacking guns
Lacking combat
Lacking the feel of Hawken
You wanna have people stomach a lacking early access title playing off of people's fond memories of the original Hawken?
Don't pack it with microtransactions.

Gaijin has always been about the grind and extracting as much time and money out of players but its never enough, now they wish to add an auction house where they get all the money instead of a cut of the money like the marketplace.
And instead of addressing players concerns about vehicles being added to the auction house they sidestep them which simply gives the impression they are and adds fuel to the fire.

Remove the auction house, revert this.

Its really hard to see this as anything but a cheap attempt to cash in on the battle royale craze.
There is nothing compelling about this game other than the distinct 80's vibe but I'm more interested in gameplay than how the game looks.
And the gameplay is bad, I spent almost a minute gliding around mid jump, I've gotten stuck in doors, I've been unable to pickup items, I've gotten stuck on a bicycle with a enemy chasing me and I've had horrible loads times that ended in me dying.
Sure its early access and many things will be fixed in the future but at this point why would anyone play this over any other BR game on the market when all of them are better than this one especially after Lawbreakers was dumped after only 8 months or so on the market?
I have no faith that this game will still be around in a years time.
What does this bring to the BR genre that none of the others have?
