First thing is first -Free to Play- NO
Free to play needs to leave, Halo does not need this ever.

Now this game is listed as a BETA yet on final release the amount of content won't change besides a couple game modes being added and some armor being unlocked.
So for the multiplayer side, this is lacking content.

All new weapons are boring with horrible designs, abilities aren't really something that anyone cares about.
There is only 1 map that resembles Halo (Behemoth) and there is about 4 or 5 maps total.
Lack of game modes and 343 is pushing Halo into the e-sports genre making Halo less fun.
Customisation was removed and locked behind a paywall. (including changing colours) Gotta love f2p.
The progression system is almost non existent.
You do not get XP based on your performance, you get XP by completing challenges. (eg: get 5 kills with BR)

With all that aside, the gameplay is fun but gets boring very quickly due to the fact that there are about 3 game modes and 5 maps.

Now the campaign is being sold at a full price triple A game yet it does not include:
CO-OP
Multiplayer
Split-Screen
Forge

More then 50% of the game is missing yet they're charging $90 AUD.

Halo is my second favourite franchise of all time yet I cannot recommend this at all.
This is an insult to the Halo community.

Dark souls 3 is amazing.
If you only care about the story and single player, buy it on sale, I also recommend both DLC's to complete the story as this is the last in the trilogy and play in offline mode to avoid being invaded and having your game ruined.

For multiplayer, the arena was great at the start but the game is full of cheaters so it's not worth trying anymore because they can ruin your character/saves.

Back in 2017, this game was fun but once people started figuring out how broken and easy it was to manipulate the game, the community became split and both sides were giving incorrect feedback to the developers. This made the developers make horrible decisions to the gameplay and by the end of 2018, the game was lost.

In terms of gameplay, there are 2 sides.
Killer side and the survivor side.
The killer needs to stop the survivors from progressing and sacrifice them.
The survivors need to start generators to open the exits and escape.
The game no longer is fair for either side and anyone can abuse the game to win.

It is now an absolute mess and not worth playing at all.

If this is your first experience with these games, I still recommend playing the originals on the original hardware because these games are heavily edited and not in a good way. Lots of important details are lost and there are plenty of bugs that ruin the experience but this is the best we're going to get on PC.

The audio is atrocious and requires you to change levels depending on what game you're playing.
Sounds appear to come from the wrong locations or everywhere at once.

Overall you can't go wrong with buying this collection. You get 5 good games and one meh game.
The multiplayer alone has so much potential especially with the fact that you can make your own maps and game modes.

This game is pure fun. It is a time waster which is what we need.
