I'm leaving a cautionary review for anyone that doesn't live within North America and Europe.

I live in South America (Argentina specifically) and as soon as I launched the game I went through the Terms of use screen and found something I find rather damning.

Apparently the "do not sell or share my personal data" option is not available in some regions including my own. I find this frankly absurd and while I had to accept to be able to play the game I made sure to email them afterwards and ensure that they wouldn't share or sell my data.

Needless to say the negative review is based exclusively on that factor, I think removing the option to not sell your personal data based on region is absolutely scummy.

I bought this game only to refund it later however keep in mind i only saw 1 side of it and didn't go too far in so take this review with a few thousand grains of salt. Also i'm gonna put not recommended from my own experience but if you want the honest opinion on wether i do recommend it or not just read the bottom paragraph.

I started the game as a wizard since i love magic in most games however i can say i hate the idea of a mage in this one. Practically you have your basic autoattack spell that consumes mana and then you have other "better" spells (i think there's a total of 8) that also consume mana. Playing a wizard is practically sitting in the back spamming left click untill your mana runs out, then just waiting for the enemies to strike and pressing right click to block untill your mana comes back up (which isn't hard at all because block not only has insanely large defense windows but also you can just spam with no consequence, and i was playing on hard mode) fights were rather uninteresting and boring when i realized that would be the cycle of my role throughout the whole game. The tactical pause also makes it insanely easier by letting you completely freeze the world whenever you feel like it giving you as much time as you need to think (which is not much at all).

The cutscenes could use some work in almost every sense of the word, most of the time characters just talk while idly standing by and their lips barely move at all, the teeth seem to move more than the lips which looks odd.

All in all with my minimal playtime i personally discourage others from buying this game if they are gonna want to go the magic route but if you want trapper or fighter and you don't mind a relatively repetitive combat and can whitstand the kinda lame cutscenes i'd say give it a shot. I see how it could be fun but when the main option that drew you to the game is lame it just doesn't make you want to play.

Early Access Review
I bought this game with rather low hopes, i have a low amount of time on the game (For now) But i must say. Those hopes were surpassed so much.

First of all a disclaimer, you need to have a special mindset because most people probably wouldn't enjoy this game if you don't know what they are supposed to do beforehand.

This game is like the minecraft guy grew up and became an engineer (except it doesn't play anything like minecraft).
You can get probably limitless hours of gameplay from this, the campaign has amazing challenges the random generation on survival gives lots of replayability and it's extremely in depth customization makes every playthrough unique. The multiplayer works great and the pvp makes it interesting, the amounts of people a server can hold would make it for interesting and fun times with friends. And i haven't even talked about mods. There are so many and so different that you can probably play untill you die and you wouldnt've done anything.

For it's price tag i find it extremely worth it and i recommend it.
