This game can be somewhat hard to get into when first starting out. There's a lot to learn and Paradox (like in there other games) isn't very good with tutorials, so its best to checkout 3rd party sources for guides on how to get started.

Stellaris does a really good job in allowing the player to form their own narrative as they build there empire and expand throughout the galaxy. However, the game has a tendency to grind to a hault in the mid-game and not much happens in terms of quests or events.

Pros:
-Allows for really varied roleplay
-Significant replayability
-Mod Support w/ active modding community

Cons:
-Rather steep learning curve
-In game tutorials don't explain much at all
-Mid-game can be VERY slow

Left 4 Dead 2 is, by far, one of the best cooperative games ever made. The randomness provided by the AI Director makes this game replayable indefinitely. Even though this game has been out for years it has a healthy and thriving modding community that makes the game even more enjoyable.

Pros
- Superb Cooperative gameplay
- Mod Support
- Custom Maps
- Dedicated Servers
+- Strong difficulty curve

Cons
- Not really the game's fault, but people tend to kick you if you can't keep pace with them, not very many willing to help scrubs.

I logged over 2,000 hours of Skyrim on console before switching over to the PC version, and by all accounts it is better in everyway. The vanilla game has enough content where you will always find something new with every playthrough. Mods, oh god the mods, I don't think I will ever stop playing this game.

Pros
- Immense Replayability
- Thousands of hours of content
- Mod Support

Cons
- All cons can be fixed with mods
