This game is truly a masterpiece, from the story to the characters to the game play, Larian studios knocked it out of the park and set a new bar in CRPG's. Do yourself a favour and pick this game up if you have any interest in either turn based combat or world class storytelling

This game is nothing short of "delightful" like finding a spare $50 in a tuxedo pocket, utterly unasuming yet immensely enjoyable and addictive game play. im nearly 6 years late to the party and im kicking myself for not being here at launch to help this developer get more attraction because they deserve so much more success, absolute 0 brainer pick this game up now if you have any enjoyment for management / strategy games

It has its problems but for 10 bucks this is an open world experience that is in order of magnitudes worth the price.

While some of the logic was a bit hard to follow and I did need to look up a guide for 2 bits that both turned out to be a bit farfetched based on the information you're given, I can honestly say that this was the best 5-dollar game I’ve played in a good long while.

The game took about 5 hours to complete without doing the side mission, the story itself was fantastically subversive, giving off the initial impression of being just a quirky kindergarten story before unfolding into something that had me genuinely motivated to discover the truth behind it all (really trying not to spoil). Most of the jokes land and the atmosphere of a we happy few-esque kindergarten is pulled off incredibly well, would absolutely recommend if you have 5 bucks to burn and some time to kill.

Was already getting sick of endless GTA online updates with the single player being abandoned, the fact that they are now going after single player mods is the last straw, to the bin with this game.

Bit of a learning curve to this game so you may want to find a few guides on the interwebs since the ingame tutorial isent the best at explaining the sheer volume of what you can do in this game, seriously i have never played a sandbox game that can let you become a vassel, take over a naibouring nation, marry the daughter of thier king, renouce your faith to your current king and then slaughter your orignal nation and become thier new king.

There are a few day 1 issues going on with performance aswell as some quality of life bugs such as turns hanging on for a few seconds more then they should, but if your're willing to put up with that for a day or 2 you will be treated to one of the most compelling and deep turn based strategy game we've gotten in a good long while and its only set to get better thanks to a HUGE commitment to mod support by the developer. 10/12 would bang agien (however if you dident like EU / EW and preferd the orignal Xcom games then this game isent for you either)

EDIT: a day or 2 is starting to look like a week before we get anything more then a "we are looking into it" so yea. not changing the recommendation however if you despise frame drops and dealing with bugs then id hold off, i'll update this review as needed
