People releasing reviews waaaay too fast! I had zero problems running the game and have enjoyed over 5 hours of gameplay so far. It's already one of my favourite shooters and it runs extremely well! (And that's with a GTX 1070ti and a Ryzen 5 5600X)

Love it so far!

Edit: I think I now know how I feel about this game. Rimworld is like a Tamagotchi colony simulator. Each colony has totally unique characters you can raise to do the things you want them to. You decide their destiny and you take care of them during their journey. I kinda feel bad for my colonist if I don't check on them once in a while! Luckily the colonists don't die if you forget them for a week or two. . .

Pre-edit:
I haven't been able to find the right words to review this game. It's safe to say it's my favorite game on the market, but why? Just a few days ago I finally realised it. I was starting a colony with 4 wildly different colonist and used the dragon egg thief start. I'm not sure what it's called exactly, but It's a mod that gives you the start of a normal tribe, but you get a dragon egg to go with it. You can decide whether to sell the egg in order to gain early profit, or you can wait for it to hatch, train it, and let it grow into a monstrosity able to destroy entire colonies.

If Dungeons and Dragons was a colony simulator, this would be it. The thing that's so appealing for me about DnD is the endless possibilities, there is no end to what you can think of or what you can do, and the same can be said about Rimworld. Most ideas are probably already modded into the game, just find the right mod and download it. The possibilities are endless in this game, and the mods are real quality stuff!

So, this game is a pretty unique one! A randomly generated detective simulator. Never played such a thing, but I love games that are procedural generated, so I decided to give it a shot.

This game is absolutely fantastic. You get notified when a murder happens and you're going to have to solve it in order to get social points. When you've acquired enough points, your character can 'retire' to The Fields, a place only few get to see. You're going to be able to accept quests from other people in your city to do a variety of things. My favorite kind of mission is the one where you need to arrest a 'possibly dangerous' person. If you're like me, and you find the murder cases to be too easy to complete, just search for these kinds of missions and go for the ones with the highests rewards. I took a case with a whopping 3100$ reward! The difficult part about this mission was that I only had a few details on the target. Their height, their build, and their hair style. A yes, and the additional notes told me that they're depressed

THIS MISSION TOOK ME FOREVER TO COMPLETE... If you have a picture of the person you can ask around if people have seen that person, but I had no such thing! Everyone told me I had too little detail for them to be able to help me. I went to all the pharmacies to see who'd have bought anti-depressants, but it turns out everyone in a highly industrialised city is depressed, so that was a dead end. I started going to every restaurant and business, breaking in to check their employee files. Everyone who had short blonde hair I put on my watch-list, but none of them had the exact height the target had. Eventually I found the target because they walked into the restaurant I just happened to buy my fried chicken at. That feeling was the absolute best! "Short blonde hair! Average build? YES! How tall is she?? 175cm!!!! LETSGO". I immediately went to turn the case in, making my 3100$ finally after all these hours of gameplay. Of course I did all kinds of other mission in between, solved some murders, and eventually got to retire, but that mission was an absolute milestone!

It took me 10 hours in order to retire on a small map with a population of 281, and a normal game length. My small map had a 3x3 grid of buildings, which had a nice variety of places! I had to reach social level 8 in order to retire. I'm now going to start with a new character on a very large map, the biggest possible atm, with a population of 696 (no, I didn't chose the amount myself), with a very long game length. This town has a 5x4 grid of buildings, and a few reach to the heavens with a whopping 19 floors!!! I'm going to have to reach social level 12 before I get to retire, so I'm sure I'll spend more time in this town than in the first one!

This game is an amazing puzzle game to play alone or with friends. There's a lot of achievements and a few of them are actually pretty challenging. Played for 7 hours now, but I think I'll be playing it a lot more! (Also, you can use your webcam to customise your character so it can literally turn into any kind of ugly ass creature (like a close up picture of your best friend). Now THAT'S what I call content).

After 22.5 hours I'm about 1/3 through all of the content, it's insane! The gameplay is very intuitive, with room for customisation in combat. You choose your own preferred weapons and skills. The game looks amazing, really love the way the game looks, and it runs great as well! I've only played singleplayer, but I'll definitely also host a server for my friends!

There's a lot to this game, and you're going to have to grind a bit through it. And given that this is still an early access game, with a big content update coming soon, it's going to have a lot more! The progression is very well done tho, you don't have to grind too much to continue unlocking more stuff!

So, here we go.

I recommend this game to other players, especially those that enjoyed the first game as well. Yes, the game should be more optimised than it is now, because sometimes it really runs like ♥♥♥♥, but the developers are active and are releasing patch after patch and update after update. I would recommend just buying the game when the price is within your own budget, because before we know it the game will have so much more content than we started out with.
Last week I wouldn't have recommended it gameplay and performance wise, but because of the active development, and seeing how big the updates are that they've planned, I can definitely and safely recommend the game!

You could not imagine a better horror game and the developers are actively working to make it an even better one! The game is full of content and every ghost behaves differently. It's an insanely re-playable game and very enjoyable to play singleplayer or with friends.

Complete and utter foolishness. That's exactly what makes this so much fun. It's so incredibly derpy but you can do so much stuff within this game, it's amazing!
