You'll start this game in what's known as a Cradle Oasis, long story short it's a friendly starter area. I'd suggest not leaving until at least Level 20+ which comes faster than you think.

Here you'll craft basic weapons, armour and stat to unlock paths on the tech tree. Use up all those frags!

You'll then move to a medium oasis, fairly friendly area though some PvP action. Probably an idea to join a clan or small group at this point. You'll find much more materials here, loot locations and you'll begin to build bigger and better walkers! The dinghy is a good option.

I suggest to have a dinghy logged in the lobby, and build a spider as a gathering walker then transfer to your dinghy with a base packed inside. Less chance to lose all your hard earned loot that way!

You'll eventually end up on a hard oasis, again with more materials, different mobs (stay away from giant crabs) and also new points of interest. You'll turn fragments in to tablets here, certainly encounter PvP on both small and huge scales depending on what tile you're on.

Overall this game is fantastic, and that's just the tip of the iceberg what I explained. There's so much progression to be made, or PvP to be had. If you're a thirsty pirate or a frantic farmer this game truly has it all.

Devs are pushing out regular fixes, updates and content patches. You'll not regret it.

This game is very, very fun. However, the ''competitive'' gameplay has awful Match Making, you'll either smash the enemy team and be bored doing so, or you'll be the only person on your team with a positive k/d and playing the objectives.

There is also a very awful pay-2-win aspect, basically enabling you to have a stronger character than others when buying a certain card with better stats on the stock ones.

TL;DR - It's okay, Pay-2-Win aspect ruins it. Bad MM.

This is literally the worst game I have played in a long time.

I'll try keep slandering to a minimal but as an Alpha release, it's god awful and shouldn't
be playable even in Alpha. The game stuggles to run on a strong pc; (i5 @ 4.2ghz/gtx770/16gbram).

Go set fire to £20 and you'll get more enjoyment I promise you.
