Played beta and this was the only feedback I submitted: Allow quest sharing for town and faction board quests.

If you can’t share these quests then the whole game seems like it will truly become grinding next to one another on top of having to spend 5 minutes planning what route you’ll take across the region to accommodate everyone. And all you think about the whole time is how much extra quest EXP you’re missing out on by constantly having to help friends w/ quests you don’t have. It’s incredibly frustrating.

And these responses of “you should’ve looked it up before getting this game” or basically “leave this is how the game is” are completely ridiculous.

Quest sharing has become standard in MMOs. It’s like if a car company released a 2021 model without a USB port for phone charging. And these replies are basically “didn’t you read that this car doesn’t have AC??”

People would stop buying that car, or trade it in so they can then get a different model from a different company.

And if they don’t fix/create quest sharing soon they won’t lose one person, they’ll lose groups of people - because those groups of people are friends who can’t easily play together.

Which would be a bummer, because I love all the other mechanics of the game.


NOVEMBER UPDATE: I've since played a few hundred hours because, like I said, I love all the other mechanics of the game. That is no longer the case. My server is dead. Towns are in a state of decay because players have left the game en-masse. There simply arent enough people to keep towns maintained. As a result you cannot craft ANY end-game gear due to invasions constantly being lost and crafting stations downgraded. To top it off, my servers economy has still not recovered from the gold duping exploit, infinite chest exploit, trophy dupe exploit, or food dupe exploit. Gold selling bots litter the beaches, and if I were to guess they legitimately make up 10+% of my server population.

I have helped run the strongest Syndicate company as a consul with 80+ members for a little over two months. To quote Joe Exotic, "I will never financially recover from this" there is simply too much tax, too much town upkeep, and not enough players. We have to donate out of our pockets just to maintain. It's a huge net loss. If you don't own Windsward, Everfall, or Monarchs Bluff? You cannot thrive unless your server is high population.

That brings me to Outpost Rush...whew, what a tragedy. Since it was finally initiated I have been able to get into TWO matches. You can queue for hours but since there is no cross-server gameplay you will never find a match if you chose the wrong server...End game expeditions (Genesis and Lazarus) are also useless, and now that they've shadow nerfed crafting experience and end-game watermark farming? Everyone that starts playing now is going to be at a huge disadvantage against sweat players like myself that have already leveled everything (600 GS) with the previous system...1.1 is a huge downgrade and step in the wrong direction.

FEB UPDATE: The more you play this game, the more you'll feel like you're stuck in abusive relationship. You want things to work out from the bottom of your heart...but you know deep down it's time to give up...
