To start off, I have played on and off for 10 years now. If you are interested in Interwar and World War 2 vehicle combat, then this game is for you. If you are more inclined towards cold war or even semi-modern vehicles I would say set this game to the side. It will take you literal years to get to "modern" equipment, and even if you take the short cut of buying a top-tier premium you will be a free kill to someone on the other team and/or a detriment to your teammates.

This game needs a region lock, without it Chinese players join NA and EU servers with terrible pings. Also not to mention that literally 99% of cheaters are coming from China.

They still haven't fixed the issues of this game. Infact, the devs have only made the problems more evident over time. this game is blatantly P2W and new, more powerful cards get added every update.
