This is the best Sonic game in a LONG time! It's janky and sometimes glitches like many other sonic games but in terms of execution this is the most solid game since the early 2010s. I like the story and the lore and a few of the zones are fun to explore with Sonic's speed.

My biggest issues involve the skill tree, the tutorial and how glitchy the combat can be at times. I swear I had to look up how to parry and half the moves online in order to get some of the mechanics.

It's still a solid game and fun to explore in. As a Sonic fan I liked it plenty. It's a good step in the right direction. Maybe if you're still unsure wait for it to go on sale. It's worth playing if you like open world games.

the game takes some getting used to but once you've learned how the mechanics work it's a lot of fun. Regardless of whether or not you're a dragon ball fan, this is still good asymmetrical game. It may seem unbalanced in some cases but if you practice enough and learn different strategies as both the raider and the survivor you can even the odds. Personally I really like the exploration factor and the team work needed to win and the multiple methods/strategies that can be used to win on both sides. No match ever feels dull with the variety in that regard.Biggest issue I have is that when you have to fight the raider, the combat seems really unresponsive. Probably designed that way but it never feels like you're doing damage to the villain. No feedback or impact for punching and shooting stuff. You don't have to fight to win luckily so sometimes i'll just avoid it all together. Also my game has crashed at least once when matchmaking but its been stable aside from that.

There's a lot to like about this game: good graphics, converting the Dragon World into an explorable open world is cool, good challenging battles and RPG mechanics, as a Dragon Ball fan, I like it enough. I like that the story is expanded upon through side quests and such.

At the same time it can get pretty Boring and repetitive with the fighting mechanics and the story is abridged kinda weirdly. I know some non-fans that picked up this game and liked it and were influenced to watch the show, but fans seem indifferent to it. Also the menus and upgrade methods can be confusing.

I do think it's worth playing,just wait till it's cheaper I'd say. If you're curious about DBZ, this is a good way to get a general idea of the story.

Been wanting to play time game fort ages and finally got a PC to do it! I've played Nintendo Platformers all my life and this is a unique and fun time! Prefer to get it on Steam since I have Mario Odyssey on the Switch. Amazing music, cool creative graphics and worlds and love the writing! Play it!!

Freaking hard but freaking fun. It's a run and gun game that youll spend hours on.
