The battle royale mode is extremely mid and not worth buying this for at all.

As for the ExfilZone (EZ) gamemode, it is extremely fun. I've played tabor quite a bit and while that game has more polish in terms of questing, controls, and the hideout, EZ is immensely better in terms of gunplay, QoL, and (lack of) jankiness.

Playing Tabor feels like a chore and I get a headache every single time from what should be extremely basic things such as picking an item up. Dropping a gun on the floor on accident and trying to pick it up is actually awful in Tabor. Virtual crouching not even being an option unless you pick Seated mode make it genuinely a chore to do anything. Picking anything up in Tabor is awful in general. In EZ with force-grab it's literally so easy and painless. The weapon smoothing is awful in Tabor. The gunplay in EZ is infinitely better as well. Scav raids are actually perfection in this. (I hope that a scav rep feature gets added). The scopes in EZ are SO SO SO SO MUCH BETTER and are actually usable as well. The variable zoom scope is LITERALLY perfection. The tasks are also so much more fun in EZ than Tabor imo.
Everything that Tabor and EZ does, EZ does it so much better.

That being said, there is quite a bit of jank and missing essential features.

In tabor, you can snap the neck of a scav to take their gun, or, bring in a knife to kill a scav. If you run out of ammo in EZ, you have 0 offense or defense until you find a weapon and ammo in a crate (or ig a grenade). Maybe, certain items like a screwdriver, or other items like that you can actually use as weapons for stabbing as well.

Things you are holding in your hands will randomly drop for no reason with no indication in EZ. Combined with this, most items clip through the floor 80% of the time. It is a complete gamble if you drop something if it will just clip through and you lose an item.

Attaching webbing to your backpack is cool but being able to grab stuff attached to your backpack without having it out leads to so many problems. It's a really cool feature though, maybe it should be able to be turned off so that you can only take stuff out of the webbing if you hold the backpack?

Taking attachments off a gun or putting them on is extremely tedious in EZ. It just doesn't work 80% of the time. One thing that i do miss from tabor is being able to put a gun into safety. So many times in the hide out I am trying to Grip+Trigger an attachment and I end up grabbing the gun with my other hand and wasting a bullet. I love the feature of being able to grab the gun with your other hand without having to drop it first though, it's actually so nice.

There needs to be a way to check hydration, energy, weight, and time left in raid on a watch on your wrist or something. Or, maybe just when you look at your wrist it pops up on there. Opening a menu every time to check a basic thing is very tedious, especially when food and water goes down way too fast in EZ.
Also, the map constantly re-centering itself while moving is annoying af. Oh, and also also, pings on a map randomly disappear, it is very frustrating lmao.

Another thing I like in Tabor is going to the market, you can test the weapons with ammo and a magazine on the wall. Maybe there could be a feature where if you click an item to buy in the market in EZ, it shows up and you can interact with it before buying it to see how it works/looks.

The graphics options in EZ are awful. Resolution set to "ultra" and it looks like im playing 720p and weapon fire mode writings are impossible to read. Anti Aliasing seems to do literally nothing. There NEEDS to be an option to upscale (FSR, DLSS, XeSS idc just anything) and proper AA (not TAA or FXAA). Tabor's and Into the Radius's graphics settings are mind numbingly in depth. Maybe there should be a basic tab which is what it is now and an advanced tab that is like Tabor's or ITR's.

All in all, EZ is actually super good, and is so much more fun than Tabor. I don't ever see myself going back to Tabor unless this game dies. The battle royale mode is really bad tbh but EZ alone is worth $20.

Feeling lonely?

I've really tried liking this game, but the constant crashes and disconnects from my friends party/game makes it not very fun or even playable. No other games we play have this issue, and both our PC's are above recommended specs for this game. The gameplay itself is okay, overrated, but it's okay.
Is it worth $40? No absolutely not especially with microtransactions as well. $20 at most.
I'd honestly rather play Destiny 2 than this, and saying that scares me. bad

Don't play this game if you want to play with your friends. There are loading screens in between maps/sections that break the party and you have to restart your game and re-invite every time.

Sea of Thieves in space but worse. majorly overhyped, but for $10 it's okay for around 2 hours with friends.
