Great action rpg in an interesting world. Unfortunately filled with bugs that never got patched due to developer shutdown. Most annoying among this is a quest log that an require cumbersome workarounds to be read and a quest in one of the larger side quest chains that can bug out... but even despite this it’s a journey I felt worth it. Satisfying feeling combat, even if it is a tad simple. Good UltraWide support and high frame rates... unless you connect a controller upon which a bug makes the framerate tank.

Took me a long time to beat it because unlike the first game that was brilliantly paced, this one feels like it tries to fill out the gameplay with more story than the actual puzzle mechanic evolution allowed for. Some puzzle rooms feel pointless and redundant but it is just a minor gripe in what is otherwise an excellent game with amazing humor. Had it been anything other than a puzzle game I would not even have noticed, but the quest to make sequels longer just because can be felt... But since it adds more science themed humor I’m all for it.

Excellent UltraWide and high framerate support.

A good paced, fun and balanced Assassin's Creed set in Tolkien's fantastic world. What's not to like? Capped at 100FPS (but there's unofficial workarounds) and native ultrawide support, even though it goes with the interesting idea of a true 21:9 resolution (3360x1440 instead of 3440x1440). The few black pixels on the edge of the screen this causes is of less significance though and I can accept that way better than several pixels not being used ;)

Really fun short Hack-n-slash RPG. Great support for Ultrawide resolution and runs like a charm locked at 144FPS. Maybe a bit simple in mechanics and aiming the fire spell can be a pain, but a highly enjoyable experience nonetheless.

I usually manage to find entertainment in most games and while I prefer good ones, I generally don't tend to write negative reviews because most games have something fun to offer... in the case of Tomb Raider I have to go against this trend though. Not because the game is bad... I can't really speak up on that because I am not able to play it at all.

I usually love this kind of games and they usually agree with me, but for some sad reason the developers have gone with the cheap trick of having a constant shaky camera in this game to make it feel more dramatic or something and there's no way to turn it off. I guess a lot of people can actually enjoy this "dramatic" effect, but as a person with a bit too fine tuned sense of balance all this does is create instant motion sickness. I suffered through the intro hoping it was only part of the initial shock of being thrown into danger and that it would go away once you reached a safe spot. Unfortunately once I've unlocked the first campsite and the game has opened up before me, it's still there and only a few minutes of playing triggers such a severe motion sickness I have to lie down for a few hours to get rid of it.

It's a shame, because I've been saving this game in my library for a long time, building up expectations for the day I felt it right to start out on a grand adventure.... only to end up in bed with severe nausea. Only game that I've played that is close to this bad for my motion sickness is Warframe and that's because insanely fast movement that jerks the camera around... a slow third person adventure like Tomb Raider should never even be in the danger zone.

For most people the game is probably safe, but if you're sensitive to motion sickness, you have been warned.

While this game is an excellent remake of and old game, you can really feel the old game shining through. It's basically the pinnacle of repetetive grind. I truly enjoyed the first 20-40 hours and the first few ship upgrades, but after that it became extremely repetitive and once I reached another new ship I realized I was grinding for ships that only handled worse and with turret weapons on you didn't really have to handle it anyways. Also, after playing some other actually modern space sims, the handling in Elite feels off. There's supposed to be newtonian physics yet it feels like flying in syrup not vacuum.Thankfully there's a space sim boom going on and if you can't wait for more games to come Elite Dangerous can keep you satisfied for a while, but honestly I enjoy heavily limited early access games more than this.

[UPDATE After 2.3 Update]

The grind is no less grindy now, but the game CAN be enjoyed if you find a zen mode. It's like a Truck Simulator in space... with guns. It's still a time eater beyond most games with little soul, but with the past updates it's actually developing some soul. It's still also a singleplayer MMO... while you CAN fly in wings and even limited multicrew these days, this tends to reveal bugs you never stumble upon while solo. I would almost change my not reccomended to "maybe" if there was such an option. I CAN reccomend this game for people looking for Milky Way Truck Simulator 3303, but if you're looking for intense space action, look somewhere else.
