Its alright for an idle game

Nearly 5 hours in and I'm loving it, it lags when loading the outside area sometimes but not always.
Its a beautiful game and i honestly feel like I'm inside Hogwarts.
Nothing else to say, you don't even need to be a big fan of harry potter to enjoy the game for what it is.

Everything about this game is a giant clunky mess.
The controls, the farming, the fishing and the combat.
None of it is perfect and yet its still a decent and enjoyable game with an alright story.
It does pick up after the first few hours, but my personal hate is how much the doctors fees are for dying.

Don't pay full price, wait for a sale.

Played 20 hours when it first released, it was a fight with the settings to keep it playable the entire time.
Recently restarted due to watching the anime and needing the scratch that itch, have since played a few hours and have none of the issues i struggled with before, making the game into everything it should have been at launch.
Nice to no longer regret buying the game and cant wait to time sink even more.

I'm over 300 hours in now, please send help.

If you've not played yet definitely start off with the character creator to get free funky clothing.

Highly addictive, even considering all the bugs that hold the game back.
Free with game pass so maybe try it there before committing to purchasing one of the bundles, not many people like the idea of buying an early access game and with good reason.

Constant patches and updates are a blessing with a team behind the game that pays attention down to the little details, recently removing the low energy screen animation because many people disliked it.

Really nice community to top it off, all around goodness to relax with after a stressful day.
Highly recommend playing, even for a little while.

After the toy story drop that included stitch and the Christmas star path i've slowed down a lot, finally ran out of things to keep me occupied. There is an update due in February and im hoping it has a lot too it.

So far there is no word on when the full release will drop.

Plays amazing, works most of the time. Make sure you have your pc totally up to date otherwise it runs awful. Started crashing today. I want to love this so bad but spending a few hours trying to fix bits here and there is pretty annoying.
Worth it though.

Animal crossing but better in every way.
