I've played Elden Ring for 36 out of 72 hours now and it's been absolutely addicting.

A perfect blend of dark souls and skyrim provides the best open world experience I've ever had. challenging bosses, satisfying gameplay and hours of entertainment.
As of review time I've spent ~35 hours actively playing and I have no idea how close to the ending I am, if even close at all. Yet I already look forward to my 2nd playthrough, and my 3rd.

Some downsides are poor PC optimisation, graphics and control wise, buttons doing multiple things, generally feels layed out for controller

The fight mechanics leave nothing to be desired, it's gorgeous, challenging and rewarding.
