Rampant with microtransactions. This is not the way, Capcom. Stop kneecapping your games with predatory microtransactions and intrusive DRM.

I can no longer recommend this game in good faith with the new DRM protections in place, making the game a worse experience for the customers who paid for it. I can no longer play this game on one of the systems I bought it for due to this update.

I'm maybe 1/2 way through the game now, and it's brilliant so far. The best aspects of Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, and maybe a sprinkling of Lufia 2/Golden Sun.

Edit: Just coming back around after a full playthrough to confirm that, yes, this game is awesome.

Many of the arcade games are actually really good, and the narrative was actually decent, as well.

This is one of the best fantasy tactics games I've played, at least since Final Fantasy Tactics and Ogre Battle. The story is interesting and has meaningful choices to be made.

Hated every moment, 10/10

It's very fun!

More forgiving than FTL, but possibly even deeper.

Cuphead is a beautiful and very difficult game. The difficulty doesn't come from reflexive skill or memorizing patterns, for the most part. Difficulty for many of the bosses in this game comes from getting lucky runs due to the randomness of their attacks.
