Ghost Song is a beautifully atmospheric game. From the haunting music, to the vibrant and alien levels, and through to its fantastic story.

I’ve just spent about 10 hours with this game and one of the most wonderful things about it that I can say is, it left me with a sense of mourning. I knew that the story was coming to an end, I knew I was going to learn the secrets of Little Blue and this dying moon of Lorian, and I mourned what would be its end. I feel that is an incredibly hard thing to do with a game, but the games themes itself of mourning loved ones, and learning to carry on, largely mirrored my own feelings for the game and its characters.

Ghost Song, in short, is a wonderful game. I can easily recommend it to Metroidvania fans, especially those that enjoy a bit of souls-like mixed in, but I can also easily recommend it to those that enjoy a game that has such a huge amount of beauty and love put into its entirety.

Game is a fun precision platformer that offers three different difficulty sets that will give a fair amount of replay-ability (Especially with the hardest difficulty being to restart the level entirely on death).

I beat the game on easy as I am not the best with precision platformers and largely enjoyed my time with the game.

It's a decent little platformer that I can recommend.

Partner and I beat this game one weekend.

Obviously it's inspired by Rampage, which is awesome as the Rampage games were great fun side scrollers as well. Definitely worth picking up for a fun little co-op/party game.

Do you want to see what its like to be clean and strong?

Do you want to feel the smooth press, met with a clunk, of a counter that stops at 9999?

Game is short and sweet and doesn't overstay it's welcome. However I do wish it was longer so it could have better shown off, or explored, some more of the neat game mechanics it introduces along the way.

Would recommend checking it out.
