I'm leaving a positive review because this game has SO much potential and I will be watching, streaming and playing while they create what looks like it's going to a beautiful game. I do wish that the initial release was a bit more polished, but as it's an early access game, I was not disappointed.

Raft has a lot of potential to be something truly amazing, but I'm not sure how dedicated the development team is to keep this project an ongoing venture. That being said, I've enjoyed playing and streaming this game with a very lively and innovative community.

Rust is a game that needs a lot of attention paid and if you don't have time for that, do not bother. Whether you choose a PVP server to experience everything the game has or you choose a PVE server to lay back and relax, just to build and make friends, this game is a gem, either way. The Workshop community has done amazing work with mods and skins and the development team is still very active. Although I feel that this game still has a lot of potential, as is... is still fantastic, with a very active community.

Yet another survival game akin to ARK/ATLAS/Dark and Light, etc. However this game makes it so if you get killed in game it doesn't hurt as much, I'm not sure why it's easier, but it just is to get back up on your feet and keep going. The aspect of making a home vehicle instead of a mere base in game and roaming around from oasis to oasis is brilliant.

Playing solo could be very difficult given the scope and size of some of the later walkers and operating them in combat while also being a driver is near impossible, making a solo player the perfect target for anyone with more than one player on their walker.

At the moment of this review, private servers have not yet been released and I have a feeling that most people are going to scatter to the edges of the earth (private servers) because of the mega clans that are running around merking everyone and everything in their path. There are no region locks in place for the servers and to do so would kill their price point, so from a developers standpoint I understand why not, but having one mega clan roaming around to every server and killing everyone and taking all their stuff every day is just.... annoying. As I stated, it's not hard to get your stuff back, but not being able to fight back against that many people is infuriating.

All this being said, this game was released pre-alpha and has a long ways to go for anything resembling perfection, but for now, it bares on all my spare time. See you in the Oasis.

The formatting for this is pretty great, it's a fun game with a lot to offer, I've played for near 100 hours and plan on playing 100 and more. The development team for this game is as their name suggests, a snail's pace, meaning updates for this game are sloooowwwww, however, I would like to hope it's inevitably worth it.

People keep asking whether or not the game is dead, the dev team releases new content every 6-9 months and keeps normal holiday events in game that are pretty fun as well. There is a lot to do and there are no hand holding quests and people complain that there is no concise storyline, and while that is partially true, you get the idea, dwarves, elves, and humans are at war in this game, and despite that, the pvpve concept is truly real. Work together to survive or die.

The game is a good one, with a great RPG survival base. Many people compare this to ark.... the grand scope of that is true, but the rpg accepts of growing specific skills in a specific way instead of merely gaining engram points and using them at will is a more intriguing concept in general. Feels a bit more like Skyrim, than anything else.

This really is just a standard clicker, with weed, that's literally it. The one thing that makes this a negative review is the scrolling speed for the menus, it's just attrocious. When my mouse would normally scroll 1000 pix in one direction I get like 10-15 out of a menu in this game.

To say that Ark is huge is an understatement. Of course, the PVP community is incredibly aggressive, survive well or get smited. For that reason I personally started on a PVE server, with a myriad of dinosaurs to choose from and an incredibly diverse set of elements from which to choose your base building style, this game never ceases to amaze. I'm 200 hours in, level 70, and I have several bases full of dinosaurs that are all useful in different ways depending on my need for the moment. There is never a dull moment in this game. A lot is required of the player to keep up with their dinos, but Wildcard has implimented a passive leveling system that applies even when you're not using a specific dinosaur. Taming is no joke in this game, taking anywhere from 30 minutes to half a day or more, depending on how prepared the player is. This game is a true survival challenge.
