If you like arguing with your friends, this game is perfect.

A nice game to relax to in the evenings.
Nothing too stressful aside from the occasional boss fight.

I started off with GameMaker, and would probably still reccomend it for those new to programming and game development. It's very quick to see results and also there are a lot more tutorials out for GameMaker vs Godot. Unfortuately, it's a paid product (with a free limited version), and is a bit restrictive if you release any products using it.

Godot is great once you are more into scripting and can deal with less tutorials available (this is slowly being worked on my many people).

It's free and full of features. How could you go wrong?
