This game is not for everyone. I will admit that right up front. It does not hand you everything on a silver platter or have you follow a predetermined path. You have to work at this game a little harder, think a little more, and maybe keep some notes along the way. There are no obvious quest givers with icons above their head (in fact, in game puns are aimed at this) you will need to talk to NPCs and seek them out...or not...your choice.

The negative reviews on Steam seem to be from people who lack an understanding of a game in development and want a polished game up front. If you fall into this category, maybe look elsewhere. If you like to follow the development process with frequent monthly updates, developers that talk to the community, and the ability to participate in this process then this game might be for you.

I have played many hours of this game not using Steam so my hours shown here are not reflective of my participation. While this is not an Ulitma reboot (and is not intended to be) it does take me back to some of the days of old and I am having a blast.

I really think this is a great game for the price. It is challenging and fun to see how long you can survive & then have to start all over from scratch. I have died in some creative ways and none of them actually involved me starving :)

I have already recommended it to many friends and cant wait to see if what comes about with multi player.
