Nothing Else Comes Close.
The Ace Combat Series have delivered time and time again, very immersive air combat, story, and of course, fun maneuvers. Ace Combat 7 does not lack in any of these whatsoever, it has finally come close to how I enjoyed the story of Ace Combat 5. Its mentions of wars that took place in Strangereal several years prior, the cameo of different characters from older games, always puts a smile on my face. Of course, Ace Combat 5 is still my favorite game, but this? This takes second place of course.
My Ratings:
Story - 8/10 (Im still bummed out at the murder of Harling, and how Labarthe got killed)
Gameplay - 10/10 (introduced more mechanics that i had to learn, absolutely lovely)
Characters - 7/10 (TAAAABLOOOOOIIIIDDD)
Replayability - Yet to be Rated, but temporary rating will be a 7.
Until then, I'll be waiting for another game.
