Playing this game was so much fun!!

Lost Records is a game about change, unity, secrets and girlhood. You play as Swann, a teenager who lives in little Velvet Cove. There she meets her new friends Kat, Autumn and Nora, with whom you can experience life-defining events. The relationships with each of the girls vary depending on your choices.

And I absolutely loved playing this game, finally one that feels like the “old” Life is Strange again! In terms of style, I would probably attribute it most to True Colors, which also happens to be my favorite game in the Life is Strange franchise.

100% recommendation from me, anytime.

an incredible game with a heartbreaking ending. a plague tale: requiem is a worthy successor to the first part. the trailer material made me a bit skeptical, especially the new gameplay with the crossbow and the new companions didn't really convince me at first. but it took me less than 5 chapters to realise that requiem is just as good, if not better, than innocence!

- the gameplay is a bit different in comparison to the first part. a few additions reminded me a lot about "the last of us", in a good way. it made the game much more exciting and less repetitive.

- the difficulty level of this game was also different from that of its predecessor. I had the feeling that all paths in innocence were already laid out and also always very obvious. while in requiem you can approach each chapter completely differently. in my first playthrough of the game a lot was tricky and even though I was frustrated at times, it was a lot of fun.

- the characters, both familiar and new, are wonderful and very refreshing. I was initially confused that amicia and hugo were now travelling with grown-ups, but these grown-ups were just as love-able as our friends from the first part.

I've recommended this game to all my friends and I will continue to do so. It's by far one of the best games I've ever played.

I have waited several months in excitement for this game and my expectations are definitely fulfilled. I have both positive and negative things to say about Fall of Porcupine!

positive:
- the art style is beautiful and reminds (intentionally) of Night in the Woods
- the main character Finley is sympathetic, as are the other main characters (namely Mia, Karl, Pina, Irma, Dr. Krokowski)
- many initial bugs were fixed quickly
- interesting minigames matching the hospital theme
- accessability options (also for the minigames)
- the town of "Porcupine" is bigger than you might think at first, a little exploration is worthwhile

negative:
- the explanations of some minigames could be more detailed
- I had the feeling that all tension was saved for the end of the game, the first 5 hours of play seem very similar, almost boring (playing time was 11 hours for me)

In my opinion, the game did not end as abruptly as many people say. nevertheless, at the end there are some unresolved questions that I would have liked answered. but I suppose the focus should be on educating about the problems in the health system. and I think they have succeeded in doing so. many of our real life struggles appear throughout the story and show the player what "the other side" looks like.

in the end I still find the game very successful and highly recommend it.

I don't usually write reviews for games on steam. But this game is so highly underrated. The artstyle and character design is what made me curious, some of the reviews saying it gives "night in the woods vibes" sold me.

Once I started playing I just couldn't stop. Discovering all the mysteries of Beacon Pines, gaining new information with each path you take was hooking me in so much! I looked at every possible little item, listening to what the narrator had to say about it, discovered all possible endings and outcomes. It's just a perfect game, even made me shed a tear once!

I've played Life is Strange: True Colors twice. Of all the Life is Strange titles, it's my favorite!

You play Alex Chen, a young adult who moves to Haven Springs. It's a beautiful town surrounded by mountains and rivers and with stunning buildings. You get to know some of the residents, characters I immediately fell in love with. Then there's Steph and Ryan, who you can also have a relationship with.

Before the game's release, I thought I'd be romanticising Steph. You already knew her from Before the Storm and so far I've found the male love interests in the previous Life is Strange games quite boring. But Ryan Lucan is very different. He's one of the reasons I keep coming back to True Colors. The first part where I found it almost impossible to decide.

But I also have to say that Alex's ability to see other people's emotions, get caught up in them and even manipulate them at the end creates incredible gameplay. You quite literally embark on an emotional journey in this game, one that still captivates me even after three years.

I'm not a huge fan of the plot twist in this game, one that just doesn't make sense to me. But after the disaster that was Before the Storm and now also Double Exposure, I can look past it in my favourite game. And no matter what comes next, nothing will probably ever hit quite like True Colors.

review after playing chapter 1 of tell me why

positive:

+ GREAT STORY
+ flashback scenes from their past
+ you will play as both twins
+ the twin you do not play as also interacts with objects and people
+ MANY background noises! I felt like there weren't this many in the life is strange franchise
+ many new story achievements (that do not have to do with completing a chapter or finding a collectible)
+ LGBTQ representation
+ not much transphobia yet, but so far it's handled well! I love Tyler's sassy comebacks
+ I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way they can replay memories! this way you also find out a lot about their past and relationship with each other and their mother
+ the goblin book and it's storys are super cute!
+ characters from the book represent irl characters you meet as the story goes on (and figuring out who is who is sm fun)
+ the puzzle to enter Mary-Ann's room was great
(+ that you could skip if you wanted)
+ Tyler has a LOT of character, fell in love with him at first sight! you just know how much he's been through
+ great voice acting!!
+ VERY fast release (an episode every week)!
+ good play time if you don't rush! (4,5 hours for the first chapter)

negative:

- wished it was longer than "just" 3 chapters
- so far there weren't many major choices, that changed the outcome of the game
- the controls felt a bit choppy at the beginning, but I got used to it quickly
- my audio overlapped sometimes
- graphics sometimes took a while to build up

a really great game!
the controls are easy to learn, the game itself doesn't have any parts where you can get stuck, because you don't know what to do next. It's simple, you wake up, you go to every spot, talk to everyone, meet up with either the band or gregg or bea and go to sleep again.

Mae is someone you can relate to easily, the humour is just fantastic! all her other friends are amazing too. big positive is also the representation of lgbtq+ characters in this game. it's subtle and it's there. not a big deal.

on the other hand, some things are easy to miss. like places, people or conversations. didn't even know that you could hang out with germ and easily missed two achievements! the achievements are not all quite easy to achieve, you will definitely need a second run, if not a third. but I am looking forward to playing it a second time. :]

also... gregg rulz ok

The game holds what it promises. It's really calming and I just love the artstyle of it. The sounds of nature and music give it such a good vibe.
I definitely recommend it even tho I keep struggling with some levels. It's good for it's prize but I wouldn't charge more. Got it on the sale with 50% off.

I started the game with the goal of not using a single clue, because I wanted to get every achievement. Some levels are really really easy, especially those on the blue map. I basically solved each of them in 1-3 minutes. But the autumn map (with the deer, hedgehog and squirrel for example) is really hard. I end up not finding the last few ones and its so frustrating because there's not a single guide or walkthrough that goes that far.

So yeah, if you're determined to get the achievement of not using a single clue, it'll be hard. But otherwise, just enjoy it, don't get too hard on yourself, you can do it.

Edit: I gave up on the squirrel.
