Decent gameplay mechanics and concept. But playing late game content is straight up painful. Not to mention that they don't include tutorials or guides to properly use mechanics from later i the game such as missiles. Other than that the economy on which the game relies (forcing a 'repair' and 'ammo expenditure' for every battle played) and using the same arbitrarily set resources that are needed for purchasing and advancing the tech tree vehicles

The only reason to play these days is if you've contracted stockholm syndrome from playing already.

Cities Skylines can be considered one of the best city planning and management games currently out there. Though the problems in the game seem to mostly focus on traffic related problems and it is based off of the American style of city building (everything connects to the road). Highly recommended and there are a ton of mods to try and use in your cities to create nice landscapes.

It's a great game my only complaints are that it is too short and that depending on your actions there is always someone giving their life for the group, it's a cliche I'm tired of. I haven't encountered a single bug during my 23 hours of playtime as of this moment and I hope they will bring some new locations to roam around in any upcoming expansions if they at least give those thanks to the Epic games debacle.

Update: the DLC were good if not a bit short. Had hoped that there were some more than just 2. Mostly enjoyed the Sam's story DLC with it's new weapons and locale.

10 new missions, taken from Emergency 1 till 4. Several of them are quite iconic for the series if you know it. It includes a short video (5 minutes to 4 minutes long) with 2 of the developers discussing the mission and playing in the old game it's from. At least they lowered the price from 60 euro's to 30 euro's from their previous installments in the series.

The good:
- the new engine they're using has finally been patched extensively and works on a somewhat decent level. This took 3 years.
- the missions are varied and often differ in range of difficulty, through its a shame they kept the ingame limit on vehicles instead of using the money system for nostalgia.
- Controls are quite decent and have been improving through the games.
- A good amount of vehicles availble for whichever mission you're playing usually enough to be needed through lacking mostly in ambulances.
- some expansion on the old missions such as the use of newer ingame units to create new objectives such as the deployable boat being used whilst not in the original mission.

the bad:
- It does not include the campaigns in the same launch through is still availble through the launcher
- world of emergency account launcher
- no new vehicles added, amount of crew in vehicles has been decreased for fire vehicles and increased for ambulances
- still not the best performance
- video's illustrating missions are all in german and can't be fast forwarded
- not all vehicles are unlocked for the missions, only those specific to them.
- only 10 missions have been added, through 20 wouldve been even better

I would not recommend it for those who are just starting in to the series, unless the game actually includes the emergency 5, 2017, 2018 campaigns. Then it would be ideal. It mostly serves the fans who have played earlier titles for nostalgic purposes.

Quite a fun game but gets onesided quite quickly, through I'm still waiting for smaller screen support because for some reason half the power armor HUD is missing and I can't see the lock I'm attempting to pick open. Also should add an option for how many objects can be placed in your settlements, really annoying to see that fort awesome isn't even half done and getting the notification that there is nothing to add...

Was disapointed by the poor performance of the game, put it down to low played decently. Played a bit, got sucked in. Did mission after mission, now I completed the main story arc and I'm sad there isn't more.

It's quite short for a emergency game, as usually they around the 30 missions, but this one is limited to 12. Probably because they expect a lot of missions/maps to be made with the editing tools (as this supports mods contrary to the emergency 2012-2014 games)

It's quite addictive and a lot of fun, and it does have the occasional good pun. Vehicle variaty has been reduced a lot, which is a shame. But then again you don't really have a need for those specialized vehicles if you aren't acting in those area's (think forest fires and forest fire fighting vehicles).

I do recommend it, just for the gameplay. I wouldn't recommend it for the performance, althrought it does look amazing when you can crank it up to high/ultra. All in all just happy to see another one in the series.

Great game, really atmospheric. Do recommend, but for the love of god. Turn dialogue to russian and subtitles to English. Because the English voice acting is god awfull, I don't know if it's better to buy this version or the redux....
