For the low, low price of FREE, this is an excellent game.
Many modes, maps, vehicles (air, water, land). The graphics are quite nice, it has music (cant say anything good or bad about it, because I have turned it off) and it's well looked after with constant updates, new content and tweaks to its play style. You can have fun with this for a casual arcade game, but also go full on piss in a bottle simulator mode, for the most realistic experience.
For a free to play game, this really is a lot.

BUT:
There are certain aspects to be mentioned that make this game less of funn experience and more agonizing, one should be prepared before playing this:

The Grind:
Yes, countless vehicles in many nations, but you have to earn points to get them and this takes long. And with long, I mean really long. I've been playing for 800+ hrs and have not even gotten all vehicles in one category of one nation. I probably could have grinded more efficiently, but it shows that simply playing a little from time to time will not give you much of the supposed content that is advertised. Economy is also important, Higher vehicle ranks need more money to repair and require more highly skilled crews, I recommend using a guide to not waste your money away, because it sucks to have researched a new tank and missing, 200k points to buy it. This game eats time away, and it takes long getting to where you want to get.

Skill difference:
There are players who have never slept or worked a day in their lives: Those know every vehicle's weak spot, all the unfair advantages on maps, guns, etc. and who are always more lucky than you. Period. You have to live with that.
Cherish your 1 kill or your 1 won round, because people are better than you. And you will play rounds in which you will be cornered in your spawn unfairly and be completely destroyed.
As in any other game with open online lobbies with no strict ranking system, you will be outmatched and you will get angry. This is also part of that extreme grind you have to keep in mind.

P2W and unfair advantages:
This game has ingame transactions for accessories and premium vehicles, that's how Gaijin earns money.
It's in their nature that they will be obscenely pricey, unachievable for most, and unfair to play against. As any free2p game you can make arguments for p2w. Nobody can deny that.
But as player like me who has played his fair share of rounds in many different tiers, I rarely notice this. Often you are matched unfairly against vehicles that are too strong, which is mostly Gaijins fault (uptiered). But it's not that often that you will play against a premium vehicle that is unfair, at least in my experience. There are in game vehicles that are unbalanced, and if corrected, others will become unbalanced. This is normal in these kinds of games, though.

If you keep all this in mind, maybe check a guide or two about how to make kills and win round and keep a healthy economy, you will have fun with this. But it can get annoying at times, you will have m8s who never heard of team play or human decency. And since this is a game with historic war vehicles, you will find anything from edgy history buffs and flat out Nazis.
Certain nationalities live out their nationalistic fantasies in this game as well, which can get annoying. But there are community guidelines from steam and Gaijin, there are ways to flag and ban stupid people, and off course there are automatic mechanism to kick team killers and stuff like that.

As I said, overall this is a good game. Anyone with 800 hours in a game can't argue otherwise.

Vorab, in Gelegenheitsspielen (DM, TDM, etc.) nerven Killstreaks enorm.

Hauptsächlich Suchen und Zerstören also Bombenentschärfung.

Good Luck.

Mahlzeit.

In jedem Fall: Empfehlung. Gönnt euch.

Stellaris is as any other Paradox title:

- harder to learn then necessary
- constantly changing through updates or new DLC so you need to relearn core gameplay elements
- the AI will not outperform you because of its intelligence, which it very much lacks, but because it cheats to beat you
- saves will corrupt and die for a multitude of reasons
- bugs and errors will force you to throw away the countless of hours u have poured into one match, without any fault of your own

Enough whining though:

- Stellaris is actually pretty fun and quite good.
- the non dlc vanilla content has hundreds of entertaining hours and via extra content and constant updates, weak features go vanish and the gameplay feels regularly fresh
- Its fun to be confronted by a plenitude of random events, enemies and interesting AI decisions to ally or fight with. You can construct complicated alliances/federations/ whatever or just grow as cancerous all consuming autoritarian state, however you want
- The game is overall pretty, and performance is quiet good for the early and mid game. after that typical paradox perfomance isssues
- there is a gigantic mod market on steam that only requires you to click a button and enjoying it immediately afterwards. Any sci fi or fantasy franchise makes an appearance in the workshop, and some of these mods are competently reinvent the whole game

So, yes, after 900 hours, this is a definite recommendation. I'd advise to check the wiki regularly though and maybe consult some tutorial videos form time to time, I've had 100 of hours in this game without understanding some of the core gameplay elements, which on the other hand proves my point that this game definitely is fun.

You don't need every DLC though. There are enough special species or additional content on the workshop market. Unless you have more than enough money than go for it. The DLC is fun enough to justifiy its existence (species packs, story packs, etc.) but gameplay dlc are the most important. IDK what i would do without federations, for example.

So, good game, have fun
try Star Trek: New horizons if u get this game. Definetly worth while.

Mindestsoftware.

Keine Empfehlung. Aber glücklicherweise auch nicht mehr käuflich.

Weird that I've never considered rating this game in the soon-to-be 2000 hours I've wasted in this piece media. So:

CS2 is CSGO with new graphics, and not too many things have changed at first glance. But I could be cynical and say that nothing much has changed since the first CS. But, of course, there are many differences and features.

Pro:
- graphic overhaul in animations, textures, map reworks, etc. It looks excellent and way better than CSGO which was a much needed update for such an old title.

- You can sell weapons now, pick up dropped items via menu at the spawn and recieve budget information between rounds. This is an important feature and should have existed long ago

- new balancing of weapons grenades for a more fair experience

- new Premiere mode, which exists not in spite of but separately from matchmaking

- They have added arms race back and greatly improved the Demo Player

Contra:
- Rampant cheating in casual, matchmaking and premiere. Mostly on higher Elo but even if you play this game as a normal person for some time, you will 100% experience some sort of game manipulation, which always sucks. Yes, they are continually improving this but it still is miles away from beeing okay or "normal". Valve please fix.

- The new ranking system is not for me. At least not yet. You receive only a number in premiere and no rank. Separately from that are matchmaking ranks that are individually earned for every map. Higher ranks are only reserved for cheaters. The highest map rank I've ever had in CS2 was Silver 4 which corresponds with an high Gold Nova or lower Master Guardian in CSGO. I ask, why? Why are certain ranks unachievable for human beings? Why is it so weirdly distributed? I don't get it.

- A lot of content is still missing. I do not understand, after trying multiple times to host private lobbies, how this is supposed to work. Was very easy before. Countless game modes and maps are missing. Certain options from the options menu are missing that were available in CS:GO.
- The UI of the options menu lacks structure and is very minimalistic, for no apparent reason other than aesthetics. But boring aesthetics, that is.

- Overwatch is still missing, which would improve the cheating situation not only practically but also psychologically. I hope this comes soon.

So should you play this and even pay for it? Yes, I would recommend this game in spite of it's many aggravating flaws. I have 1700 hours, for god's sake. Its fun, its it's competitive, it's Counterstrike. Valve is trying to improve things and has done so in the recent past. Much needs to be done, but I had a lot of fun playing this the past few months, and I will always return to this game. I am sure of it.

I recommend this game.

Edit:
I remembered something I thought I should add. Topic: The Community.
There are a lot of nice and normal people who will be polite, be helpful and cooperative. But there is also a large amount of toxic people. There are many people who are not able or willing to communicate in English, or only to be offensive. People who are flat out racist or as edgy as possible. People who flame you for everything, while never accepting blame for their own mistakes. Or people who forget that a main component of this game is communication and just do not speak at all. That sucks, but If you are willing u can live with that.
Just "buyer be ware" you need to have some tolerance, a thick skin and some patience, and then you will enjoy this game.
Though, best-case scenario, you have a 5 person premate team, so you might only experience toxics on the other team, which u could mute without any problem.

TL;DR: It's Age of Empires; it's cheap, its fun, and it's a classic. Good for Star Wars fans but also non-fans. Its quiet old so don't expect modern features, and it has a few technical issues. But great title in my book. Recommended +1

Review:
For me, it is a childhood classic. It's a direct Age of Empires clone, and the gameplay reflects that, mostly. Since it's space fantasy, you also have flying units and alien environments, which is kind of neat. There is no good Star Wars game without X-Wings, I guess.
While there is an extensive campaign vaguely following movie franchise plot points (original and prequel trilogy) but also entirely made-up stories, all voiced and scripted, you can also play randomly generated matches against bots, multiplayer via LAN and it also has a map editor.
The editor was the most interesting to me as a child, while I spent hours constructing a believable battle of Theed, grand starbases or thick jungle environments with secret areas.
There are thousands of unique buildings, units, voice lines, characters. (The first place I ever heard of characters like Mara Jade f.e.) and an obvious love for detail.

All in all, it has high replayability. Some people mod it, but I don't know anything about that.
I would certainly recommend it, even for the standard steam price. People who have never played it before will experience certain weird UI, video and general options phenomena, that you will have to get used to. These are a result of its age. For example, starting the game results in multiple autoplaying videos that close and then open the game back up again. You cannot zoom out very far and watch from a fixed perspective, etc.

Quick Hint: There is one 30-minute music track that is an amalgamation of certain Star Wars music set pieces like Dual of the Fates, the Imperial March and so on. This track will end when it is done and not repeat itself. If you play a match that goes on for hours u will suddenly realize that there is no music anymore. Tabbing out and back in will fix that an replay the track. BUT it always resets the music, even if the track has not yet finished, so don't over do it, or you will quickly get sick of it.

But like I said, all in all, great game. I'll open it up now and then, and I have spent countless hours in it.

Hope this helps. Have fun.

- Great Humor
- Great Stories
- Interesting and entertaining add-ons to the previous Flash Games (Bio's, additional achievements and Easter Eggs)
- At least 1–2 hours of extreme fun. If not more.

- Unfortunately, due to licensing issues I presume, many sounds and images (mostly pop culture and game references) from the originals have been altered, slightly ruining one or two jokes, at least for me. This is the only problem anyone could have with this game.

I would encourage anyone to buy this game. (Also play the flash originals once atleast)
