Was really happy with this route, however the Locomotive physics are appalling. The steaming simulation is non existent stoking the fire is needless.

good route, it's of older quality. but it is incredibly realistic, the class 450 is a little underwhelming in quality but it works well. the scenarios all worked although i did worry the holybourne tanks scenario was broken. in the end i completed it by simply waiting at the red signal for a while, it eventually changed. just took a while with nothing appearing to happen.

I recomend this route as it is highly accurate and entertaining, also the the 4cig and 4vep use it for there scenarios.

Route: 10/10 (highly accurate to google earth)
Scenery: 8/10 (its a older route now so textures aren't the best)
Scenarios: 9/10 (all work just need to have patience on holybourne tanks for a signal at the end of the scenario)
Rolling stock: 7/10 (class 450 is a ok representation, no cab or instrument lights so bit dark at nighttime. and lights are the basic front and rear without the day/night options. the rest of the stock is from the european asset pack so of very basic quality.)
addons: quite a bit of addon rollingstock (ie 4CIG and 4VEP) available seperately but add more scenarios and are both good dlc to have if you like old school 3rd rail traction.

Overall: 8/10

Very basic locomotive, boiler is way to efficient. can climb sherman hill out of cheyenne barely dropping in pressure. Needs updating can't believe this famous loco is neglected to such poor quality.

brilliant scenarios, a lot of fun to drive. Nice challenge to drive a train with less tractive effort. you actually have to worry about wheel slip and locking the breaks in some scenarios. also like how they struggle up steep inclines. some spelling errors but worth the money 100%

nice performing loco, had problems with an ai collision on one of the scenarios meaning i couldn't complete it. but still worth it for the loco and the working scenarios.

not a bad route. some of the scenarios are possibly broken. i did particularly enjoy shunting on the dock's.

not worth the price tag. you are getting a half hashed route which is boring to drive. I wasted my time hoping the scenarios might atleast be interesting but no luck there.

only buy on discount and even then there are so many other better options. Doncaster works is cheaper and is way more entertaining.

Unfortunately there are many broken scenarios, and many graphical glitches. Only buy when it is on special. and be prepared for some let downs in the last few scenarios as they are broken.

Seriously Dovetail games, i have played scenario 1 and 2. scenario 1 i completed but there is a small error in the first tasks description. it only says to decouple 1 hopper when there is multiple however i worked this out by looking at the next task.

the reason i am giving a temporarily negative review is that in scenario 2 the last task before going into salisbury yard is a "GO VIA" so i proceeded past this location and got a operational failure meaning i would now have to play the entire scenario again. How hard is it to put in correct descriptions of tasks. you have been developing this game for years and still fail at the most simple of things. fix these errors and i will change this review. I highly doubt you will though because there is still errors in routes you released years ago that have been reported.
