Can't recommend the game as it doesn't feel measurably different from Beat Hazard 2 outside of weapon types and 3d graphics, and nearly all icon art has the typical hallmarks of Generative AI. I paid for a new game, not an old game with a machine painting over it. The community engagements are appealing but it's not satisfying if it's done so lazily.

An unbelieveably emotional ride, Transistor combines brilliant tactical gameplay with a compelling storyline and a soundtrack two wrap it all up. Beyond that, the art is just the bright shiny bow on the package, making Supergiant's second game just as much of a hit as the first.
