I'm not quite sure why this game isn't more popular than it is... It has a lot of potential to be one of the best games especially with the mod support.

This game right here is what made me go on a rampage to try just about any promising indie game and I am glad I did. There are so many good indie games out that never really get the spotlight they deserve and this is probably my favorite of all of them. The mechanics it uses are so fresh and exciting but never really get monotonous to use. There are many games out that I enjoy but 75% into the game I feel mind numb and hope the end is near so that I don't give up on it before I beat it. This game I literally was yearning for more after it was done. Definitely deserves a lot more credit.

I only recently started playing ARPG games and am quite saddened I never got into them back when D2 was popular (played it about 30 minutes but never gave it a real chance). I only gave D3 a shot because of a friend and enjoyed it but felt like it was lacking and then I came to notice path of exile... Wow is there a lot to do. Just starting with the skill tree it can be overwhelming but after giving it a chance it can also be quite exciting and perplexing. After a little while the skill tree layout you use tends to become quite static with only a few different ways you can choose to go so it is not a headache with each new character. The crafting system is quite fun although I do believe that it is catered more to the people who can afford to spend exalts and eternals and I really wish you could craft exciting items as a casual but can't really take away points from GGG for such an amazing idea. The currency is also really cool. Most games let you add up gold with each kill which can have its rewards but come on this is an ARPG.. The excitement comes with the RNG so it can be extra exciting and uplifting when you get your first exalt drop and even more exciting if/when you get a couple within the same week (but don't expect it as some people have 400+ hours with none but I have about 5 exalt drops in the same time and two in same day!). If you like RNG and gambling, definitely your game. Just remember.. dont use currency when leveling other than transmutes/augmentations and if you are gonna use alchs dont use more than 5 pre-60. Don't touch alts, chromes, fuses, chaos, blessed, regals, divines, exalts, eternals, MIRRORS everrrr (or until you really understand crafting), lol. RNG will NOT be on your side, remember that!
