Personally, I wouldn't mind if this had more of a boomer shooter vibe to it because it tries to be like Bioshock-y horror at some scenarios.
HOWEVER one big caveat that I dislike is the need to have the enemies MOSTLY have resistances to almost every weapon every time.
Other than that it's alright but, why the open-world?

Runs well in DirectX11. No stutters and smooth 60.

Game gets tough as soon as you finish the Rude boss fight. If you're used to the hack and slash mechanics of KH you'll have an easy time in this.

RTX 3050 with 8GB. Doom Eternal ran fine on medium-high settings, meanwhile Dark Ages has forced Raytracing on that you can't turn off meaning you'll have plenty of framedrops in enclosed areas where there's a lot of real time shadows and reflections. Frame Generation is also broken at the moment so
PLEASE
wait for a sale.

Gameplay wise it doesn't feel like Eternal or Doom 2016 which is either good or bad depending on your worldview of having new gameplay elements such as bullet hell and parrying mechanics.

I can play Monster Hunter Wilds now. Thank you THS

Edit: After playing around for a while I realized that it's not worth fiddling around settings trying to have the lowest input latency with Framegen on unless there's a new model that gets updated.

Runs well with FSR 3 Native AA on High Settings. GTAO fixed the problem of people spamming cheat links entirely by removing the ingame text chat function (you can still message players through the ingame phone).
Mod menus have also started to wither out.

Did we really need a remaster of this with Sony's bloatware tampering? Performance is mostly okay until it starts to framedrop, maybe even stutter too. DLSS doesn't do much and NVIDIA Reflex slows the game down.

The Framegen isn't as bad if you limit your frames in game.

As much as I love the new gameplay features I have to leave a negative review for the poor performance on my 3050 RTX VENTUS OC 2 8GB GPU, on Medium settings with DLSS set to performance.
I have also removed the Directstorage files with no difference.
