A very calming game. Beautiful music and environments to keep the game fresh as you dump hours into it. Once you learn the basics of the game, you find yourself wanting to do everything possible in the game. Do you want to actually have a chance of getting married? This games for you. Do you want to feel like an adventurer? This games for you. Do you want to be a farmer? No? Then don't play this game. There is a nice depth to the characters that make you want them to like you so you can get to know them better and see what secrets they are hiding. The game rewards you for trying all it has to offer by giving you expansions (free of charge) to the map. Great game, will put more time into it.

Early Access Review
In essence it's the adult version of minecraft. It brings in what I've wanted most in survival games, to fight hordes of zombies. It truly is an exhilarating feeling running from zombies and trying to kill them all on that 7th night. Base building isn't the most rewarding feeling but it serves its purpose and isn't overly complicated. The leveling system is always something that can make or break a game for me, and this game has a pretty good system. It lets you create your own play style, whether you prefer up and close combat, long ranged, or even using machines to fight the zombies for you. It is a game I've enjoyed playing, and look forward to continue playing.

From Software does it again. Surprisingly this time with a solely offline experience, which is different compared to the games that came before it. A concept that isn't successfully done nowadays.

They delivered a beautiful game that is fun to play. The part of it that makes it so enjoyable is how it makes you feel when you play. It beats down your urge to just bust in to an area and fight every breathing enemy you see by how fast enemies can kill you. You learn patience, strategy, and most importantly: how to abuse stealth. Stealth is such a breath of fresh air in a game where (almost) everything wants to kill you. It's a simple yet effective way to kill normal enemies and helps you deal with those frustrating mini bosses dispersed among the world.

The atmosphere and ambiance of the game are truly amazing, too. I catch myself dealing with my frustration by walking to a cliff, and... jumping off... No, but the beautiful scenery you see really helps cool a hot headed mind like mine. You feel soothed by the music of the world, and the nature going on around you. They also do a great job of delivering that open yet directed world like the one in Dark Souls 1. You never question yourself wondering why you're going the way you're going. You just get that rush of excitement and that subtle hope that you're not going the right way. The thought they put into each area shows. I haven't stumbled upon an area that didn't deliver that feeling. The enemies seem to belong where you find them, they suit the area that is around them. There is no area that makes you feel the way Lost Izaleth did in Dark Souls 1. Everything you see falls right into place.

Another thing that feels great is how your prosthetic just flows with combat. How certain upgrades counter and make life so much easier with different enemies. It's incredible how night and day boss fights are with the right prosthetic. Another mechanic I was surprised they pulled off so well is the grappling hook. It feels so smooth and actually feels like it belongs. I find myself needlessly grappling around the map, bringing me back to those old PlayStation Spider-Man days. Diving in and out of combat pulling off stealth kills and zipping away before the enemies turn to see who did it. It even plays a helpful role in many boss fights. It makes the game that much more enjoyable to watch and play.

Overall, this game has turned into one of my favorite ways to pass time and i see myself dumping in plenty of hours into it like I did with Dark Souls 1.

This game is a lot of fun right now. The exciting part is that they are still working on it and it has a chance to be even better through out time. It is a great peaceful game to play, whether playing by yourself or with friends. The worlds are exciting to explore and the idea of traveling from planet to planet to continue to explore leaves you wanting to keep playing nonstop. A game i continuously go back to for frequent enjoyment

A truly timeless game. To this the look of the game leaves me breathless on each play through. Aside from the graphics the game play is truly rewarding as well. The more time you put in the better it feels and the easier the game becomes, leaving you wanting more to fight and to see how much you can truly take on. The challenges you can put yourself through are endless. Low level, speed run, no death, or even specific weapon play throughs. This game is on the top of my list of my most favorite games. Highly recommend.
