Good horror game. Doesn't spam jumpscares like other games, instead it uses the amazing ambiance to build up your heart rate to the point where doing a simple platformer is slightly more challenging.

For my review of this game I'm going to counter the points of most of the bad reviews this game has received

1) Story
I agree the story is pretty generic, but the game seems to not be about the story so much as it is with the telling of it. video games is a medium of art. There's the story aspect and the telling aspect, which includes gameplay. While there is not much in the way of "playing" the player learns more and more about the narrator and Marie and their time in high school. The story isn't being "told" so much as it's being uncovered by the player. Now, the story may be generic, but it's also not "bad." I think a comprable analogy is how the Lion King is basically the same plot as Hamlet, but it is a good film in its own right. The Lion King doesn't have a fresh story, but it's a decent story told well.


2) Gameplay.
I am not understanding the point of the people saying it was not "fun." Again the point isn't so much the story itself or even the gameplay, it's how a particular story is told. This game is a F2P walking simulator, I do not know how you can expect more than what you get here.

3)Voice acting
It sounds like a woman recounting her childhood to me, what are you wanting exactly?

4) my Impression
I thought the story was generic but enjoyable. I think for a game that is expected to be completed in one sitting it had you do enough. Nothing was too hard to figure out, that is no item you were supposed to observe was really hidden. This is a good game if you have an hour and you want to do something to relax. Instead of reading a short story you could play this game, essentially. For those reasons, and beause it was free, I would recommend this game.

there is so much wrong with this game from graphics to controls, but the coop experience makes the game so fun that this i a great recommendation for anyone who has a friend
