I really enjoyed the story and the gameplay. However, i did have some serious "annoyances" in the game where it felt like my choices didn't really affect the story. On top of that, there were specific choices i made where i specifically didn't want to come out as the bad guy, but still did because of reason X or Y. Let's not even begin to talk about people complaining about batman being too violent, and then having James Gordon shoot 1 guy in the head, and another point blank, in the back, with a shotgun.

I should start off by saying my feelings on this game are very mixed.

The game itself runs well, the gameplay is good and the wide roster of heroes with their own unique abilities and playstyles keeps the game refreshing. There's also a bunch of side activities/exploration on the side which is really easy to complete. The story in itself is pretty good. The world is ending and we have The Avengers, X-men, Midnight Suns and other team members working together from stopping this. The pain point however is that even when we seem to win, we always lose in this story. Up until the last couple hours of the story, we just take loss after loss after loss without a break and it feels unneccesary. I have about 56 hours in this game, the story is long but it doesn't help that inbetween main missions you're forced to do side missions, just to make the game even longer. You're also forced to go sleep after doing 1 mission which seems like a useless mechanic.

The game itself, like i said runs smoothly. However for some reason i pretty much had to restart the game once an hour because it just crashes on loading screens sometimes. That really is the only major concern i had about this game though.

I'd say, buy it on sale.

I'm still working on finishing the game but i'm currently about half way and honestly can't recommend it.

I should start by saying i consider myself to be a pretty big One Piece fan so i'm definitely not biased in a negative way.
The story, graphics, voice overs etc. Are all really great (seriously these graphics are top notch for an anime style game). During combat when you get to use your skills to beat down your enemies, it's a treat for the eyes. Especially the cinematics are really cool as well. It's also very nice to get to go back to some iconic scene's throughout One Piece's canon story (I'm not crying, you're crying, Vivi!).

But that's about where the positive's end for me. I can see the potential of this game and i want it to be engaging and good, but it simply isn't. Combat is monotonous and i don't know why or how but, at the start of the game i received some very powerful artifacts which pretty much made combat super easy. It says the game is "open world" but it isn't true open world. Yes, i get to run around, but if i go anywhere too far away from my main objective, the game tells me to go back. Fast travel also often doesn't work until you've finished an objective. Quests are a drag because you go from point A to point B, ready to go to point C! BUT WAIT, we need a bird to navigate ... or we're missing something else so we need to MANUALLY RUN back to point A, to then go back to point B and now we can advance to point C. It's a lot of mindless running, which i could be ok with, except for that running feels slow, movement in general feels very limited. There's loads of invisible walls so you can't jump off ledges to take shortcuts, or if it's too high, the game won't let you drop down. Luffy can grapple and throw himself to certain places but every time you do so, you can't move until you land which really interrupts the flow of the game. Exploring isn't really rewarded. There's loads of chests around but they contain nothing really useful or necessary. There's a mechanic where switching to a different character can get you to open different kinds of boxes, or get through small places, or find ingredients or money ... but whenever you switch, you have a 2 second black screen to make the switch ... again interrupting gameplay.

In a nutshell: The story, graphics, animation and voice overs are all top notch but they are combined with terribly slow, monotonous and braindead combat, slow and time wasting gameplay and a "closed" open world.

When i bought this game on release a year ago, i had to stop playing after about an hour because the game was just that broken. Now a year later, i've finally given it another shot.

First off, i'm a big fan of the batfamily and the batman universe, so it's hard not to be a little biased. Gameplay wise, the missions are pretty repetitive. It all essentially boils down to, go to X and kick some ass. There's some variety in the enemies but most of them just feel like reskins of eachother. The city itself is kinda bland and dead. When you're riding on your batcycle you're barely faster than a regular car and it shows how painfully slow you're actually driving while looking at your bike from the side. For most of my gameplay i played as batgirl, who has the glide ability to get across the city easier... at least, that's what the idea behind it is. In truth, i found it to be a lot faster to just grapple from building to building. The gliding felt slow and tedious, the momentum wasn't there.

Those were my most notable pain points, however; there's also positives. I really enjoyed how the 4 characters played differently. I gave all of them a shot but batgirl tied in the best with my playstyle. The story itself was pretty enjoyable and some of the bossfights were really fun. I really liked how each character had their own problems, and you could learn more about them through their own story missions. Some of the costume designs are really incredible, although i wish the transmog system was better implemented, and it didn't take me until the end of the game to unlock most of them.

All in all i'd say the game is a 5/10 and recommend buying it when it's on sale.

I'm actually pretty happy with the game right now. Sure, there are still bugs that need fixing and things that need to get tweaked and improved ... this is a small studio, give them the time to do so. The gameplay is pretty fun and there's a progression system now that gives you a reason to play this game. They could do with a ranking system to balance matches out more as there currently isn't one. The dev team has been working hard on fixing all the problems and so far they are keeping true to their word and keeping us up to date of what's going on.

Definitly buy this game.

Absolute garbage game, buy the DLC killers and u'll win every match, especially the latest ones. Killers get ridiculously OP abilities because why not. As a survivor you will either get stupid teammates that take you off the hook in front of the killer or just plainly DC. Ohh and yea, killers camp and tunnel. So if u think u're safe after getting off the hook, no u're not. If u're the first to get hooked 9/10 u'll be the first to die. Fix this stupid game, thanks.

Sick beats, anime chicks with tiddies and cutesy graphics, this game is a solid 10/10! Easy to learn but hard to master, buy it right now and buy the DLC while you're at it!

I had a lot of fun playing this game when it first came out. The playerbase was pretty big and queu times weren't horrible, but now, once you hit lvl 30 there's not many big activities that you can do. PVP seems dead, i can only queu up for 1 vs 1 and 2 vs 2, anything higher and i'm in queu forever without a match. After all these years there hasn't been a graphics update and they still hold onto the escrow system which makes the game unplayable after lvl 30 if you're not a subscriber. I love DC and the DC characters, this game still has great potential but, the way it is now, i see it dying out before 2019.

It's an ok game (i love it cause it's transformers but it doesn't feel special like the previous games). Anyway, i was let down in various aspect, the fact that they didn't add multiplayer for example, there's only co-op and there's nobody on there. The customisation for co-op was very limited too, in previous games you could use various parts of different characters to make your own transformer, now there's no such thing.

Anyway, up to the campaign:
I like the fact that they added certain "level boosts" (tech) that makes gameplay somewhat harded but gives you extra xp in return, it makes it more challenging. Now, the story that took place on Cybertron looked fine to me, just as in previous games, but the part where they landed on earth just somehow didn't look right to me, there's something wrong with the textures which also makes it feel like they just threw this game out there just so it was out, it feels like there didn't go allot of effort into it.

So in the end i got let down in various parts but still think it's worth to play this game, it's a lesser one in the franchise and i hope the next one will be better.
